you dont seem to understand the fact that Islam is a choice, and homosexuality is not. should i criticize "the act of having brown skin"? there is as much validity in criticizing homosexuality, as there is in criticizing a person's skin color. so, allow me to correctly use the idea of moral equivalency. you & maro, and most other muslims here on RF are morally equivalent to racists. and am i to show tolerance & respect to racists?
am i to respond to every single worthless idea i come across? im sorry, i dont have that much time in any given day. but if i come across an idea that is uncivilized & irrational, i will point it out as such.

What confuses me is why people have such strong sentiments against homosexual people. You might disapprove of someone's actions but why hate? Why kill? Why do so many people have so much hate? I have always viewed hate as a sign of being far from God or far from psychological health.

yes, really. no creature is created to be hated by its own creator. if someone commit sins, he is still invited to ask for forgiveness not because he was hated, friend. even if Bush realized what he's done and regret it sincerely, you can't say he wouldn't be forgiven. forgiveness is for sinners, for all of us because we are all loved

Why wouldn't he love them? These people are a product of their environment. They act in ignorance. Love is not the same as approval. When they die, does not your God make them pay for their sins and then bring them to Him lovingly? Anyone can change and become better. Even Hitler is capable of goodness. I'm sure God knows this and loves him just as he loves everything of his creation.

Now it makes sense. Actually I am not even a little bit Indian. My religion does not determine my race. I am part english and part italian. So I have not inherited hate from my forefathers toward Muslims.
I think that it is wrong of any Hindus in India to terrorise Muslims just as I think it is wrong for Muslims to do the same to Hindus and even it was wrong for them to invade India when they did. Both have been stupid and wrong.
Other Muslims have told me that hell is only a temporary place for anybody. I am confused now.

who told you that? there are many Muslims who believe it, like you go to hell and burn until you pay for your sins, then you enter heaven. i can't say that's true. according to Qur'an, whoever enters hell to be punished, couldn't leave. in other words, everyone enters hell -both people who earn heaven and hell- but people who earn heaven only enter to see hell so that they could be fully thankful for their survival, the rest enters for punishment and remains there for good. that's how i know it

I am not sure what you are getting at here as I do not think that any of these people are superior to Muslims.
I can answer this though: when people act out of hate or cause others deliberate suffering it is because they are ignorant and spiritually immature.
Oh ok. That's much different to what I thought but good to have it clarified.
Is this because you are under Satan's control? Or is God simply unforgiving? Why is it impossible to redeem yourself from the mistakes of a single life that is so utterly influenced by the conditioning environment?
