it is non-sense. a man with a weapon is always a man with a weapon. they simply did not fight against Serbs as they were supposed to do. it was their duty to protect unarmed civilians and children. all those people died and these soldiers were given medals when they went back home for succesfully completing their duty in Srebrenica

Lava the main effect of peacekeepers is that they rely on people respecting the blue Beret of the UN, That the combatants are aware of the UN presence. UN peacekeepers are usually small numbers but very high profile, they have very strict rules of engagement. The UN has always relied on cooperation with its peacekeepers not military force . the Dutch mission was not well considered and probably impossible in the face of such Serbian Aggression.

The Dutch soldiers had the same problem in Rwanda. The Dutch Goverment don't like their Army to fight and the Blue hats are not their intended to fight that way.

That was not the Intent. One General said that. Why ? Internal politics in America. That General wants to keep Gays out of the American military. Many conservitive Christians join the Armed services, they don't want Gays to have equal rights.

Many conservative Americans hate the UN they see it as always going against American interests. There is a large minority of Americans who want to leave the UN. They see the blue hats impotent and a waste of money.

Come on nobody believes what you are saying. The Serbs killed 10s of 1000s of innocent men, women and Children. The Serbs had rape camps and raped Muslim women by the 1000s. It did not stop till Nato intervened. They did come to late but they did stop it. It was nato who put an end to the genocide. When people read you just making stuff up and grasping at straws. It devalues the suffering of Muslims. Tell the truth your arguments will be stronger.

When you make unfounded accusations. People believe that all you comments are lies.
