Are you a male or female

Not my problem to make you understand. I posted the links, and your a smart person. You now have a stepping stone to do your own looking.

Best wishes

Edit: last last freebie found with a simple Google search of "gender spectrum "- Gender fluidity: What it means and why support matters - Harvard Health
The problem with links is you can't have a conversation with them. You can ask a question, and they give an answer, but if the answer doesn't make sense, you're stuck with a response that doesn't make sense which is equal to no answer at all; which does nothing to change my view that there is no such a thing as gender spectrum.

So instead of exploring why you got so "irked" you just repeat that you got irked. And in unnecessary detail. Maybe you're not sure why. But you were so irked that it drove you to start a thread about how irked you were, as if anyone cares and can explain to you why you reacted so severely.

"so "irked" You are over playing it, other wise overreacting, but that is kinda normal for you. Must be a left thing.

Again kinda irked -kinda annoyed

Have you ever been kinda annoyed by something?
I assume you have. Why? What was it?

Here's another thing that kinda irkes me -that is kinda annoying
When driving and the speed limit is 65mph and the guy on front of me is only driving 50mph(no place to pass).... That's kinda annoying

You're entire OP seems an overreaction for merely being "irked".
Point out the over reaction in my OP.
Several have said I overreacted but yet haven't pointed it out.

I can only guess you think this was an overreaction.

"3. Do you identify as a male or female? To which I answered I am male through and through as I was born. I am a male and that's that!"

Do you know the meaning of that's that?

that's that....
-its not going to change
-there is nothing more to do or say about the matter.

Its not an overreaction, its fact. The receptionist understood that and said "ok lets move on"
Maybe its a country thing.

Kinda like telling my.grandkids "not more candy and that's that"

I was at a new Dr today and as the person was asking me things to enter my information into their system, the person says "I have to ask you these questions"
1. Are you male or female. To which I chuckled and said male.
2. Where you born a male or a female? To which I answered male of course.
3. Do you identify as a male or female? To which I answered I am male through and through as I was born. I am a male and that's that!

She paused and then said ok let's move on.

It kind of irked me lol
Yes, it can be very irritating to be expected to account for ideologies to which we do not subscribe, but patience is always the best path.

It's not even an ideology. Most people don't have to bother with have you had surgeries, health complications and chronic pain. I've had to do that since i was a kid (bad knees).
It's like in healthcare debates when someone wants to claim the young only need "catastrophy insurance," but that's not the case and some do need more.
Healthcare cannot evolve around averages. And such screenings are necessary to best serve all patients.

"I just don't understand why you reacted so severely"

Are you serious?
Do you know the definition to irked?
I said it kinda irked me
Irked =annoyed
Being a kinda annoyed is far from reacting severely

There were times my kids kinda annoyed me as many kids will annoy their parents at times lol
You reaction was severe relative
to the offense...which really
wasn't offensive. That's what
the poster meant (IMO).

I wouldn't have used "severe".

Don't you know?
Being trans, fragile X, etc....that's an ideology.
Check your Bible.

No, I tink we're all just tired af having to hear about an issue constantly that rarely effects us or anyone we know.
I didn't know that you were agender - you've never given any indication.

I'm surprised that everyone you know is agender, but I suppose it's technically possible.

In the same way I could be annoyed by Christians that just have to pray publically so everyone can see how righteous and holy they think they are, I might be annoyed by having to declare that I am of the same heterosexual persuasion as 7.9 billion other humans on the planet just because there are a few million of us that are not and we all now have to show the world that we see them and respect them and will accommodate them.

I don't normally align with the people that are always complaining about the liberal thought/speech police, but sometimes they do have a point. And this thread is a good example.

Femininity and masculinity change according to the culture.
And manhood and womanhood too...
So in theory, I could accidently change genders by simply changing my culture? IOW I always thought I was a man, but now that I've become (for example) Hispanic, I am now a woman?

It depends on the culture.
For example....a muscular, hyper-virile, fit man looking like Mike Tyson can never be considered a man in the culture I grew up in, if the man in question lets another muscular hunk possess him.
He will be considered a female.

But is it considered an insult when he is called a female? IOW does the man who got raped consider himself a female? Or is this a pejorative attached to him by the other males?

I was speaking of my culture as example. Not as a model to follow.

But no Italian would dare tell Mike.

It seem those who just cannot accept their natural state seems incredibly disjointed and conflicted.

Eh... I don't know if that's how I'd describe gender or body dysmorphia. Seems similar to me with describing people who struggle with bipolar disorder or other chemical imbalances as just sad people who need to smile more. It's a little deeper than just people who "cannot accept their natural state," seems to me

When did kinda irked, aka kinda annoyed, become seen as a severe reaction?
Is it a snowflake thing?
A Karen thing?
A woke thing?
