It's not mandatory in the U.S. save for some health related jobs that are requiring it (and I assume they don't have to pay out of pocket).
No but some countries are making it mandatory. I have also heard that Colorado has gone to a mandatory status too. In Canada we are already hearing about people that can't work if they haven't had the shot, so while it's not mandatory, it is being forced on those who want to work at those companies. It's a back door way of forcing people to have the shot if they want to work. We have also had quite a stream of "guilt" propaganda. By that I mean people talking about those who don't get the shot possibly getting at risk groups sick or over extending the medical system. Appealing to people's sense of responsibility to others in other words. It's interesting for sure. I know there has been quite a big response where I live and long line ups. We are temporarily out of the vaccine and so some people are upset that they can't get one. It really seems highly emotional no matter which side you happen to fall on.
Yes of course that is true, we do pay in the long run. You're rightPeople have to pay for it either way, whether through taxes or out of pocket at the clinic. It certainly is lucrative - that's exactly why I don't trust any information coming from the government or mainstream media. Both are too easily manipulated by industry lobbyists, and neither check their facts before they start mouthing off about how things are.

Meh. It wasn't much. You take Tamiflu... You eat and do whatever you want. General feeling of weakness. Sore throat, tickly nose... That was it really. I ate everything I wanted to eat. No biggie.Glad you got over it Don P!

Glad you're okay and got a mild version. I pretty much had what you describe except I got more fever and headache with a wicked cough. Took me about 5 days, but I ate and went for walks everyday so couldn't have been too bad. Wasn't fun though:no:
