I don't believe schools can't have instruction on knowing people. So why not? I got in trouble because I was stupid. The people I got in trouble with were not "good people". Chastity belts, aside from being impractical, wouldn't stop prison sexual assaults. There is no more inventive & vicious a predator than a sociopath with 24 hours a day to invent horrors to visit upon prey.

We do have recourse. Techniques to reduce the risk of assault (addressing both perp & victim) have spawned entire threads here. The thoughtful Libertine can take reasonable precautions, eg, it's why we have "safe words".
