California wants to break free and form their own liberal utopia.

California liberalism is fake limousine liberalism. The poor are treated like garbage and housing prices are through the roof. You basically need to be rich to live there. I am very angry at my home state and particularly my hometown of San Francisco. I couldn't afford to survive out there. The fake liberal millennials from Silicon Valley have ruined the Bay Area's radical legacy.

If one lives in the right kind of area.
I remember when I was in Cali, I ate at this burger joint that is more common out West. Even though tons of people give it rave reviews, I was so unimpressed I don't even remember what it was called, but I remember Niel DeGrasse Tyson not being impressed with it either (I think it was In-N-Out).

I wouldn't expect a chain fast food joint to be impressive.

So far as I'm concerned, liberalism in general -- let alone liberalism in California -- isn't worth much. Seems to me it's main purpose is to promote policies that defuse movements for real and necessary changes.

In some ways it does.
Farmers, ranchers, lumbermen, miners and other like minded groups see things different than most of the people in high density population centers like San Francisco, and Los Angles.

It does now in some sense, but does it have to be that way?

I work with many conservatives. I would never know they're conservative unless I ask them.

I'm a fake liberal. I care about your rights as a trans and I care about my wealth just as much. Or maybe a little less than your rights. My voting has always been to the left even if it sacrificed my right leaning economical views.

I guess true liberals have to be poor and socialists.

Just like true scotmen don't wear underwear.

"A trans"? I'm a man and a human being and a Christian before I'm anything else. I'd rather people cared more about dealing with the growing poverty, economic disparity, gentrification and so on which effects people of ALL ethnicities, genders, orientations than to be obsessing over identity politics (on both the left and the right).

Can't think of anybody more Californian than Fabio.
How does one get to be "more Californian" than another? Am I more "Californian" than Conservatives living in California who hates the state because I fell in love with the state, hold to Left-Winged ideology, and gained some exposure as an artist after only spending a few days there?

San Francisco may be liberal and have a diverse culture but liberalism doesn’t fix the issues of unbridled capitalism which the economy of CA seems to be doing well exploiting.

Just curious but are you a man legally?

You're a Christian now?

Again, I told you I vote left. Guess where that gets me with all the economic and social issues you just mentioned.

Well, you can play by your own tune and stop obsessing over identity politics by stop calling people fake liberals because they don't fit your ideal of a true liberal.

Just like people might call you a fake man because you don't fit their ideal of a true man... Get my drift?

You are being extremely rude. Change your tone. You wouldn't say that **** to my face. "Fake man". You are proof that claiming to be a liberal does not really mean you actually respect transgender people. There's a lot of right-wingers who are more respectful and not fake about it.
