I agree it would be a mistake, as "freebies" aren't a part of Satanism. If a satanist thinks they are getting something for free, that's just there mistake.

Nothing to do with the premise. Theistic Satanism is generally give reward type of scenario. That's why you sign your soul over to Satan.
Note that for real theistic Satanists, there is no pretense that they aren't paying for what they get, or what they think they will get, in one of the Hells.

Read the premise again, people were reading into it, its edited.
Since atheists don't believe in Satan, here is a challenge, that is simple.
Worship Satan as sincerely as you can. Then note if anything happens. If atheism is real, nothing should happen. This doesn't mean something "bad", happening to you, [that is ridiculous, and unBiblical], it means some indication that Satan is real, etc.
Shalom

That's weird, since they're using a Hebrew name/word, for the entity. You apparently know nothing about theistic Satanism, but that's OK nearly no one else does either.
1) No one sells their soul....
2) Reward is subjective, but generally the reward in theistic Satanism is autonomy and communication. Some people think that's enough, but others don't. Different strokes.
3) They don't care about or believe in Abrahamic concepts of Satan, they also probably don't believe in the simple good/evil dichotomy.
4) Most don't choose to become this or that, they learn what they are called to and manifest that.
Seems to be unBiblical, as most of the atheists interpreted "something happening", as a 'punishment', or something.Uh. I take it that you have a hard time understanding atheism?

Thank you so much for clarifying something that is so patently obvious. At least the folks in the cheap seats might get it now. Further, I utterly reject any concepts of demons, devils, Satan, Shaytan et al. It would therefore be quite impossible for me to attempt such a supercilious idea.A lot of people in the occult haven't necessarily been theists. Sincerely here, means taking the challenge seriously, which could involve more than just trying to believe that you are worshipping Satan. It's a general meaning word, here.
The theistic Satanists I've spoken to all seem to feel spiritual awareness of him. I'm aware of him, too, I just don't particularly like him.Worship Satan as sincerely as you can. Then note if anything happens. If atheism is real, nothing should happen. If Satan is real, you might get an indication of that, via Spiritual awareness, etc, of such.
Ah, someone who understands the real way to have a relationship with him.I don't let Satan wear the pants in our relationship. He worships me.
LOL. And actually is somewhat heroic although it's entirely by accident and good comic relief writing. He's a character from Dragonball Z.
I think many already do. As soon as I hear "Satan is the ruler of this world", then I know they have essentially said God is no longer in the God business.I think Christians can reluctantly worship Satan.
Isn't the promise of a supernatural carrot the reason people sign on to Team Yahweh?Theistic Satanism is generally give reward type of scenario. That's why you sign your soul over to Satan.
Yeah, even Christians will say that God doesn't talk to people. Again, Christianity is ironically very atheistic even about its own God, because they try their damnedest to make Him as impotent and useless as possible. What happens if the same things happens when you worship Jesus or Jehovah?
How are evil people punished in hell? Wouldn't forcing them to live in Heaven be more cruel?Punishment occurs in Hell, after the Judgement.
How many requests does God get for temporary and objectively meaningless things? This is the draw of worshipping Satan, in the first place. A temporary reward.
The idea of Satan as an evil entity is a Christian concept. Not a Hebrew one. Satan in Judaism is either:That's weird, since they're using a Hebrew name/word, for the entity.

The most important moment of Satan.
And who screws it up? Some "normal" idiot.

Were one sincere in one's worship, a live possibility is that one would spook oneself out with all kinds of unforeseen results.Worship Satan as sincerely as you can. Then note if anything happens. If atheism is real, nothing should happen.
If Satan is real then he has objective existence and you can show him to us. If, like Yahweh, he's imaginary, you can't.If Satan is real, you might get an indication of that, via Spiritual awareness, etc, of such.
Nice try. It won't work though.Since atheists don't believe in Satan, here is a challenge, that is simple.

I will take that as an "yes".Seems to be supersticious, and unBiblical, as most of the atheists interpreted "something happening", as a 'punishment', or something.
Has anyone read their Bibles.?
This brings us to the issue of whether "deception", is involved, when one chooses to worship Satan. The religious texts tell you who Satan is, Satan presumably answers to the name Satan, and the context is usually a Spiritual one...Yeah, but what they believe Satan is and what Judaism+ believes are two completely different things.
The idea that Satan is the fallen angel, is easily interpreted from the texts, overall. Were one sincere in one's worship, a live possibility is that one would spook oneself out with all kinds of unforeseen results.
But Satan is problematic at best anyway. In the Tanakh he's a member of Yahweh's Civil Service, a counselor or Secretary, someone God makes bets with in bars eg the Job file. He's not the serpent, he's not 'Lucifer' in Isaiah, he's just a face around the Court of Heaven. His bad press comes from the NT, where he's cast as the Enemy. But what does that mean? What is a worshiper of some other god's underling trying to do?

So, at time of Judgement, the Satanist is going to say, " I didn't know who Satan was" !?
Satan isnt a name any more than 'Christ' is. It's a descriptor. one with very different meanings form the Torah to the Christian texts. This brings us to the issue of whether "deception", is involved, when one chooses to worship Satan.
