How does one explain polystrate trees?
'Cause they haven't died out? Cause they continue to make it in their particular niches?
"Living Fossil" is just a cute name for organisms that have changed little for a long time.

But they would have left fossils in the intermediary layers.
We have mounds of tested, consilient evidence debunking this. You have only an ancient book and one man's interpretation supporting it, that is, no evidence at all.

In fact the idea that water and sediment bury these trees is just proof of the flood. And they span multiple rock layers that should have been hardened rock that were laid down millions of years earlier.

Where did all energy come from?
Where did all the protons come from? neutrons? photons? neutrinos? All the quarks? Gluons? Muons? All the anti-particles?
Where did the gravitation force come from? The strong force? The weak force? The electromagnetic force?
