Trump was convicted of a felony that reflected directly on his suitability for the job. He has shown no remorse or given any indication that he plans to change his ways. It would have been better to wait for these things to happen before considering him for office again.

If someone commits a crime that reflects on their integrity or suitability for office, before considering them for the highest office in the land, it would be prudent to wait until:

- they've paid their debt to society, and
- have shown some indication tbat they've changed their ways and will do better in future.

ran this time is because Biden withdrew, & she
was the default. The excitement surrounding
her was based on her being better than he was.
