Fair enough, but doesn't that count as an exception to the rule of "Thou shalt accept Christ as your savior or go to hell"? And if so, could there be other exceptions as well? Possibly even some that the church has suppresed so that they could use fear to control the flock?
Eternal life is a gift, the option is to die or live, and Christ wants us to live
John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I'm a tiny bit of an inclusivist because I believe Christ is a just judge and he made it clear he all Children belong to him. We also know some who are igorant may be judged better
Romans 2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in Gods sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law.
Lastly even if they aren't saved because they didn't find Jesus their punishment will be swift and with fair measure
Luke 12:48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
