Why would you think I don't? Jesus' final command was for his disciples to "Love one another as I have loved you, people will know you are My disciples by your love of one another".

Christmas or any other holiday is what you make it. so Yes and no.

Does the pagan tradition which it was borrowed from does? Probably not.
However when something was borrowed by christianity it was generally because they saw a bunch of similarities between what they believed and what was originally believed.

this is quite likely true. the term christian came about more as a derogatory term from people outside the faith.

Indeed. I did see one (translated) document made by a critic during the early days of christianity and it was funny how it was almost word for word the exact same arguments used against the above said sects.

Not really. Why would I pretend on something I’m free of? I’m free to celebrate anything I want without others telling me otherwise. Pretending is the opposite of freedom. When you are slave to rules and regulations, the do this and that, made by this human thinking then you are pretending of something you’re really not. If I celebrate Christmas it’s because I’m free to do this. On the other hand, if you don’t celebrate Christmas, was it because Christians do, or was it because you are free to do this on your own? You made this rules on your own and that’s pretending.
