Technically that's true, and I added that to my post. However, most of what Jesus said is along the lines of that type of suggestion or warning. So we're saying that the essence of his teachings are suggestions.

Yeah, you see, now you have just illustrated without a shadow of a doubt you have no idea what you are talking about. Other folks have been asking pretty straight forward questions and you have responded with side steps and patronizing comments. That's too bad, but I am not entirely surprised.

I joke a lot, but really, this thread isn't about morals, it's about the OP author's struggles with his own homosexuality. See, I like baseball. If you talk baseball, I join in because it matter to me and it's part of what makes me tick. If you talk about 14 Century Swedish doll house painters, not so much.
@shava has talked about nothing but homosexuality = evil. Why? This man is obviously gay, and something in his life has led him to believe that somehow makes him unworthy. Maybe he was different in school and is trying to hide it from himself. Overbearing father, fundamentalisticly powerful religious mom, who knows? But here we are piling on this poor man just because he's confused, instead of trying to help.
That pecker who shot up the bar in Florida was the same. Gay on the inside, religious on the outside. We might want to consider ignoring this man rather than setting him off like another time bomb. I would suggest it is in all of our best interests to accept that he is a confused gay person who is more to be pitied than vilified, and leave him to his own voyage of self discovery. I, personally, wish him the best of luck and hope that the day comes, soon, when he can allow his inner flower to blossom.

Seeing that you got the "P" thing wrong it's hard to see what this thread is about. But given the other words you've written, I'll just say enjoy your condemnation fest. May it somehow, magically bring you closer to our Father who, if you follow Christ, has not once offered condemnation to anyone.

Liked the first post where you noted it isn't about "don't judge." Can't bring myself to like this one, though I think you are providing the traditional rational interpretation.
I see the verse as saying if/when you judge, you judge yourself (instantaneously). Thus 'righteous judgment' does make sense in conjunction with that understanding. It also makes sense the other way, but I see the other as somewhat circumventing how judgment works and how directly responsible one is for their own judgments. The other interpretation would set it up so if you judge using condemnation, God will condemn you. I find that blasphemous.
Because your god sounds like a petty tyrant.

Perhaps we should see what the Bible says about your pride and "righteous judgement"? It is the word of God after all, isn't it?
