Evolution and Creationism both have equal value and scientific evidence to support them.

That does not mean that God doesn't have access to our reality.
I'm sorry, I thought you were saying God was outside the universe. Here's a hint that always helps. When you start contradicting yourself, you're probably wrong.

Except God.
Come on Tumbleweed, you gotta let them have their little exception.
Seems to me that religion is pretty much much the declaration of rules then a listing of the exceptions....

Marriage...except same sex couples...
Divorce...except fornication...
Lying...except when gaining converts...
Killing...unless god tells you to...

God is all around you. He is just in another dimension. He does not let you see him although he can see you. If he wanted to open your eyes and allow you to peek into his world he could. He is omnipresent.

2Ki 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Acts 7: 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Since this thread is about " Evolution and Creationism both have equal value and scientific evidence to support them.", I will await your evidence for the above statement.
Such as...

  • Do you have scientific evidence of this dimension in which God exists?
  • Do you have scientific evidence that God created this universe from this other dimension?
  • Do you have scientific evidence of an omnipresent, other-dimensional God?

Please stop making pronouncements as though you have some special knowledge. What you mean is, you believe that God is all around, and so forth.

O.K., assuming God is in "another dimension," how on earth would you know that? From my point of view, how would that be different from not existing?

  • Do you have scientific evidence that God created this universe from this other dimension?
Again, science is looking into it. M-theory.
  • Do you have scientific evidence of an omnipresent, other-dimensional God?
I am awaiting scientific conclusion of M-theory

Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

I'm aware of what the bible says, but I'm asking you how you know this. Anyone can cite a book. Other than the bible, what reason do you have to believe that jesus was both man and god?

1: Jesus was either who he said he was or he was a liar. He cannot be both
2: I accepted the atoning sacrifice of Christ to cover my sins. At that moment I received a spiritual birthing that changed the very fabric of my being. It was real and I cannot deny it.
3: If Jesus aint God, who is this living in my soul?

Well, your first point fails to recognize that there are more than two options. Yes, if he existed as stated in the bible, then he could have either been lying or telling the truth, but your missing a valid option, he could have been mistaken. Just like I'm sure you think muslims are mistaken, and not lying. The other option in your first statement, is that he may not have even existed, and there is good scholarly reason to think that that might be the case.

Your second point I can't say anything about, because it's a personal experience that you had, and it's just hearsay for everyone else.

And your third reason, is non sensical. Whats a soul? and how do you know you have one?

Or he never existed.
Or he was lied to.
Or he was just plain wrong.
or the Bible is lieing.
Or your opinion of what the Bible says is mistaken.
The list goes on and on.

2: I accepted the atoning sacrifice of Christ to cover my sins. At that moment I received a spiritual birthing that changed the very fabric of my being. It was real and I cannot deny it.
Or it could have been something you ate...

3: If Jesus aint God, who is this living in my soul?
Allah?
Zeus?
Loki?
Baal?
Again, the list goes on and on.

yet you deny the personal experiences of others quite efortlessly

Is it awkward to have to shunt god into hiding in a hypothetical other universe?

This is the problem with a "god of the gaps"... eventually the gaps get filled.

There is an element of truth to many religions.

The other option in your first statement, is that he may not have even existed, and there is good scholarly reason to think that that might be the case.

This is the point I make about Darwin. He may not have existed either.

Your second point I can't say anything about, because it's a personal experience that you had, and it's just hearsay for everyone else.
Well I may be lying, but then again I may be telling the truth.

And your third reason, is non sensical. Whats a soul? and how do you know you have one?

Conscience. That is why humans are the only creatures that experience guilt. Humans are the only creatures with a moral code.
