What if you believe God is telling you they are the enemy?I am not @Jose Fly ’s enemy, and never will be (he’s my cousin); it is telling, though, that you label me as such.
FYI, I’m not your enemy, either.

Has it ever occurred to you how much you have to assume in order to consider every word of the Bible to be divine dictation and not just something some dude claimed and it got included anywsy? It is always a puzzle to me, how so many don’t want to understand how the Supreme Being, the Almighty, Creator & perfect Judge, can make decisions resulting in others’ deaths...as if He can’t restore that life.
It’s what His Word promises. ( Called the Resurrection.)
If someone were to tell you, “If you hurt my kids, then I’ll hurt yours, and hurt you, too”....it would probably act as a pretty strong deterrent, what do you think?
That’s why, in the Biblical context, those Canaanites deserved what they got...they knew what happened to Egypt, with the Ten plagues. Rahab’s statement confirms it. (Joshua 2:8-11.)
Jehovah is always justified (Deuteronomy 32:4), especially as it relates to protecting His servants. — 2 Thessalonians 1:6-9
Apparently, it is like a video game and the bashed get to respawn into life on the last level. Weird huh?Ok, in context with verse 8, dashing out the brains of babies is ok if it's revenge.
Which makes a mockery of the 2nd greatest commandment, do unto others... and also turn the other cheek....
How is that even possible?I examine and compare what I believe with what is observed. It always fits. Seems to.
That was in the context of claims about beating slaves. Get a grip. You changed the context with this post:
"Chapter and verse where Jesus told someone to beat anyone to death? Oh..right, that is vicious slander."
Jn 8:49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. 50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. So you don't listen to yourself? I guess that explains quite a few of your posts.
The point is that when murderers run governments and are promoted and set free to rape and molest and steal and kill, rather than receive justice, it is not a good thing.Okay, let's see which countries still have capital punishment ...
China
Iran
Saudia Arabia
Iraq
Pakistan
Egypt
Somalia
USA
Jordan
Singapore
And let's see which countries have abolished capital punishment ....
Oh, it's every other country in the world.
What was your point?
It was acknowledged and dealt with. Not promoted. The fact of life of the Hebrews is the laws and mandates of God. It is described as being mandated by God as far as foreign captured slaves. The references have been already provided many times.
You claim He does and cannot offer a verse that supports it? I have the whole life of God Himself in the bible and His words that show He sets man free from slavery, and that slavery is of the devil. You claim God does not support slavery but cannot offer up a single verse to support it?
Nowhere did the bible tell Israel or anyone else to beat slaves to death or even treat them unfairly!I have no idea what you you're trying to get at.
No. He intervened locally in Sodom and Gomorrah, not in all the world. In the flood, He intervened worldwide but not to the point of stopping free will or sin. Noah and co were sinners. He did not stop them, He just stopped the very very very wicked. It is obvious the post-flood world was immediately involved in wickedness. When He returns to earth, He will no longer allow nations to revolt or be evil.step in
verb
stepped in; stepping in; steps in
1a: to intervene in an affair or dispute
So apparently he did do it.
Pathetic. That was written by bitter captives who were so wicked that God allowed them to be taken into captivity. God never agreed or said that. Nor was that about slaves they owned! They were slaves who said that! On all counts, you fail.Psalm 137:9
You do realize that Exodus is all myth as well, don't you? You keep using arguments where you shoot yourself in the foot.It is always a puzzle to me, how so many don’t want to understand how the Supreme Being, the Almighty, Creator & perfect Judge, can make decisions resulting in others’ deaths...as if He can’t restore that life.

Nope, you screwed the pooch once again dad. You changed it to a more general case. That was in the context of claims about beating slaves. Get a grip.
Keep us posted on what parts of history and reality and the spiritual, and God's word you declare myth now, OK? We care. You do realize that Exodus is all myth as well, don't you? You keep using arguments where you shoot yourself in the foot.
Address the topic. This is not about your sexual preferences.Nope, you screwed the pooch once again dad. You changed it to a more general case.
Men don't have devils. Well you might. And I see that you are now claiming that Jesus was not God. I do wish that you would make up your mind.
dad, you are confused again. I am not the one that screwed the pooch.Address the topic. This is not about your sexual preferences.
You really don't know? When the Hebrews left Egypt in the myth the kingdom of Egypt extended almost all the way to modern Turkey. Your fairy tale has Moses running away from Egypt and back into Egypt.Keep us posted on what parts of history and reality and the spiritual, and God's word you declare myth now, OK? We care.
