Gender Dysphoric Kids

I happen to think that physical reality is objective, rather than subjective.

From my perspective a person’s sex/gender is determined by their chromosomes and body morphology. Yet, activists have come up with a new subjective reality of “gender identity.” which does not correlate with physical reality and therefore has no relationship with objective reality.
If you choose to live in a place of subjective delusion, you are free to do so.

Well, the subjective is connected to the objective.
So if you feel something that is subjective, but caused be your brain, which is a part of the objective. But if I feel differently, it is also connected to a brain, just mine.
So if there are gender differences it means there are different objective brains.

They have their own bias as an organization.
I won’t deny that. Everyone and every organization has their own bias. Desiring and seeking truth is what’s important. Jesus said,
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

That has nothing to do with science.

It is experimental and unscientific because no amount of hormone, drug, or surgical treatment will ever legitimately or realistically alter one’s true biology.
No ****, Sherlock?
Ever think it's better than what we have? I used to hate looking at myself in the mirror. Now it's not so bad. I cringed being referred to as a male and withdrew and dettached from it. Being called miss is something I feel attached to. It's been so good that even starting on estrogen made me feel way better. People accepting me as female though, it's not always great, but I'm starting to feel like I can live my life.
Or it's kind of like my contact lenses. My eyes are not perfect. I am near sighted. This can never change. But a medical device adjusts how I see, making the world clear for me to see.

You say activist, but we today consider transgender people have basically always been around. There are many examples in the Hindu religion, and even some of our oldest burials have skeletons that are of one sex but are buried in the same manner as the skeletons of the opposite sex. The native Americans have two-spirits.
So, your use of "activist" makes your ignorance of this subject shine intensely bright, as bright as any star.

Poor kids that are being targeted for unscientific, experimental therapies and surgeries (for financial profit) that can create long term damage to their health and lives.

“It is not transphobic or discriminatory to discuss this—we as a society need to fully understand what we are encouraging our children to do to their bodies.”

We need balance when it comes to gender dysphoric kids. I would know | Opinion

What are your thoughts?
There needs to be better vetting when it comes to this. For some minors who are transsexuals, transitioning is absolutely necessary and life-saving. For others, who aren't transsexuals, it's a huge mistake.

Puberty blockers are safe and reversible. Great place to start.

No kid, no matter the age or how they feel should be the one making life and body altering decisions until they've become an adult. There are far too many cases of kids that made a decision to transition, that later regret it in life and blame the parents, doctors and other adults for allowing them to make that decision. If an adult wants to transition whether that's through surgery or hormone that's their decision but, a kid should NOT be allowed to do so.

You're not a doctor or even know what you're talking about so be quiet. I would've happily gone on blockers and then testosterone as soon I could. Would've saved me a lot of grief and future surgeries. And I don't give two ****s about having kids, so they can take those parts out and I'd be so happy.

And that's YOUR personal choice which should NOT be applied to everyone. And contrary to your belief i do know what i ma talking about but, it does not seem you are interested in civil discourse so ill just move on.

I'm a transsexual man, smart one. You're saying my experience doesn't matter when you're running your mouth about how trans people should be treated by the medical profession. My views here matter more than yours. You're not me and have no clue what is best for me.

Maybe you could explain what "these things" are that you are taling about.

That would be trying to alter the bodies of young people from their natural course to the course of being as much as possible, physically, a different gender.

As long as we begin from the position that trans people should be treated with dignity and that medical treatment should be aimed at giving them the best opportunity of a fulfilling life then I think we can talk about it til the cows come home. In the end I'm not trans and I'm happy to leave all the decisions to the children, families and medical professionals involved.

Sounds good but where I live in Victoria Australia, the Government has brought in laws that tend to make it abuse for a parent to go against the wishes of their child for sexual transition therapy.
