Outhouse, those "editors" of the "Wikipedia" are only compiling material which suits their manmade criteria. IT is subject to revision at the whim of another writer whose "research" appears to be "approved" by said criteria.
That "criteria" has been selected by ones who refuse the truths of the Scriptures.

The strange thing is that the Scriptures have already time-wise recorded the kingdoms and battles which the "writers" acknowledge as happened in their "work"/research. Therefore, The Scriptures are not "myths", but Truths.

No, I tend to think "foolishness" is jumping to conclusions with no real evidence to go on. However, even a blind chicken can get a worm once in a while.

I have quite a few friends I convinced he created everything!


And you cannot prove the purple ducky did not created the universe.


That is faith. Not on my part, but the friends that believe, they have genuine faith in the greatest creator ducky of all.


They wrote books about him describing how magical they felt learning of the miracles of the ducky, and what the ducky whispered to them in day dreams and high up mountain peaks!


Now science has shown that there are other origins besides my ducky creating the universe in one day, and all life on earth, plants and animals, and that the earth is older then 3000 years. But I simply don't care because I know ducky loves me!


And recent discoveries show ducky existed in other religions prior to mine, so I know he is the one true creator ducky!

Wasn't it "foolishness" on the part of all who chose to act counter to the plan of Righteousness which GOD had instituted at Sinai?
Wasn't it evidence enough by which GOD provided in all those signs, wonders and miracles by which GOD led the people?
Didn't GOD place the knowledge of HIS Creative ability in the Fourth Commandment of the Decalogue? and that as a perpetual sign of HIS sanctifying power?
And in these last days of earth's history, Rev.6-7, it is written, "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

You're missing the point entirely as the issue we were alluding to dealt with labeling someone else's beliefs or lack of beliefs as being "foolish" whereas there simply is no objective way of proving them wrong. Beliefs are like rectums-- everyone has at least one-- but "belief" is not synonymous with "evidence".

Beliefs are like rectums-- everyone has at least one-- but "belief" is not synonymous with "evidence".

But scripture simply is not objective evidence. If it were to be introduced in a court of law, it would fall under "hearsay evidence" and would be thrown out in most cases.

This is not to say scripture is wrong, btw, but that there's plenty of wiggle-room for disagreement without throwing labels like "foolishness" around.
