I don't see the irrelevancy. Was there a flaw in my viewpoint? Of course there can be more points to any subject but it doesn't invalidate what I said?

In effect you view sex and the wrong versions including education differently. Do you know that in Germany it is near totally forbidden for parents to educate their children themselves. We are in effect coming from 2 opposite cultures.

Well, culture can influence education and standards. If in the Greek society of old, the culture was to have sex with children, then they would have no problem with today's curriculum. Probably would think they could go even deeper. If the national standard says "prostitution should not be criminalized" then the educational standard would be different than the country who says "this is criminal activity"
Gambling, alcohol, and tobacco use are legal, yet schools don't encourage kids to partake, obviously.

And it takes a perverse imagination to translate some silly innocuous pose to mean "let's **** kids."

Seems kind of sexist.
I agree, but a lot of things are when you analyze them. Not trying to suggest that it is okay, but pointing out that the “sexualization” we are talking about comes from the connotation of the word “hooker” being used with high school students, and even then I am not sure that the word hooker was actually used in that setting, just that this game is referred to that by some. I thought it was important to realize that we are essentially talking about a “pc attack on language.”

So this should be standard reading availability if it is Jr. High School? This isn't a Sex Ed issue is it? Grey areas for adult material?

I think it is a morality problem and it is emblematic to the decline thereof.
Depends on the age range, like I said.
I probably read “worse” in my high school English class, tbh
Nothing bawdier than the classics ;)

Course I actually had a proper sex Ed class, at a younger age even. So I didn’t freak out like an emotionally immature person whenever we had to study “adult material.” So..

I was thinking more along the lines of why can't the "hunter" be a female. :D

"The projected number of teachers nationwide for 2021 was 3,684,000, with 3,197,000 at public schools and 488 at private schools. This would allow for a student to teacher ratio of 15.3 on average, which breaks down to 15.8 at public schools and a ratio of 11.7 at private schools.'

So, what percentage of teachers does that amount to? Can you do the math for us?

Oh, and your source is Tucker Carlson, so we'll have to take that with a grain of salt.

"A year-long analysis conducted by Fox News Digital revealed that from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of 2022, at least 349 kindergarten through 12th-grade educators were arrested on child sex crimes."

Yes, a grain of salt indeed. Oh, and 54 of the alleged crimes didn't involve students. According to Fox News analysis, so, who knows.

Lifesitenews is a trash site that I happen to know has pushed all kinds of anti-COVID vaccine propaganda.
Why do you choose to rely on such poor sources all the time?
why do you ignore the report given to the Dept of Education?

Absolutely. Basically you just reiterated what I said when I mentioned the Greeks of old

The issue is quite clear for those who understand the problem. Some choose to shut their eyes and say there isn't a systemic problem.
Sheesh Kenny, do you ever actually answer questions? I mean, a simple question like "what's your point" shouldn't be so difficult or problematic to answer.....unless you're hiding something.

I'd ask what "systemic problem" you're referring to, but I have a feeling you won't answer that either.

I'm talking about this one right now.
Why can you never answer questions asked of you?

Because this thread was disingenuous and in bad faith.

The reason conservatives hate education is because the more educated someone is the less likely they are to vote conservative, thus they want to wrest control of it, gut it, and then retool it as a means of indoctrination.

Actually, the "conservatives" LOVE education and that is why they homeschool and produce better results :D

And "this one" is referencing the Dept of Education soooooooooo..

why are you ignoring the report?
I don't know what you're talking about.

I addressed the Fox News and the LIfesitenews articles.

You have yet to offer a single respond that addresses what I said. You have yet to answer anyone's questions about anything.

It seems like every bad decision contributes to the Fallacy of Dramatic Instance where Fox is concerned. This is supposed to discredit teachers in general because of one bonehead. Their agenda gets tiring.

Agreed. Also, the article is just pandering to the anti-wokness, anti-SEL, and anti-"sexualizing" children crowd. It's another log in the anti-education fire.
