[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said

"Do not do evil to those who do evil to you, but you deal with them with forgiveness and kindness."

(Hadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari)

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said

"Allah gives His promise and honor to the one who forgives and the one who behaves humbly for the sake of Allah; and generosity never decreases anyone's riches."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Love for humanity what you love for yourself."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"A believer has found salvation only when he has just what he needs, and is satisfied and pleased with the share that God has bestowed on him. "

A man was reciting Surat Al-Kahf (chapter 18 of the Qur'an) and his horse was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over that man, and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as if afraid of something). When it was morning, the man came to the Prophet, and told him of that experience.

The Prophet said, "That was As-Sakina (tranquility) which descended because of (the recitation of) the Qur'an."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Whoever does you a favor, repay him; and if you are unable to, then at least pray for him."

(Hadith in At-Tabarani)

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Be happy with what Allah has given you and you will be the richest of the people.

Be good to your neighbor and you will be a believer.

Love for the people what you love for yourself and you will be a Muslim.

Protect yourself from the forbidden acts and you will be the one who worships Allah the most."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"One who desires chastity, Allah makes him chaste; One who wants contentment, Allah makes him contented; and the person who aspires for steadfastness, Allah bestows steadfastness upon him.

No one has been awarded a bounty better than patience and submission."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"God, in His equity and justice, has made joy and relief the consequence of contentment; and worry and sorrow the consequence of discontent."

Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"The one with good morals and character already owns the best of this world and the Hereafter."

"All people pass a test in their life. The test of my people is what they do with the goods of this world."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Allah is Forbearer (Rafeeq) and loves forbearance (rifq) in all matters.

Whenever forbearance is added to something, it adorns it; and whenever it is withdrawn from something, it leaves it defective."

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said he knew a verse that would suffice men if they would but apply it:

"Should you come across some mishap, do not say: "Had I only done this and that things would have turned out so and so; but say only Allah so determines and did as He willed." Because the Phrase; "Had I" only opens the gates of evil conduct."

"Remember Allah during times of prosperity, He will remember you in times of adversity."

"O' People! Spread the greetings of peace, feed (the poor and needy), behave kindly to your relatives, offer prayer when others are asleep, and (thus) enter Paradise in peace."

"Allah extends His Hand at night to forgive the sinner of the day; He extends His Hand in the day to forgive the sinner of the night.

He will continue to do so until the sun rises from the West (the Day of Judgment)"
