Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet pbuh)

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"If you had all relied on Allah as you should rely on Him, then He would have provided for you as He provides for the birds, who wake up hungry in the morning and return with full stomachs at dusk."

(Hadith in Al-Tirmidhi)

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Angels come to you in succession by night and day and all of them get together at the time of the Fajr and 'Asr prayers.

Those who have passed the night with you (or stayed with you) ascend (to the Heaven) and Allah asks them, though He knows everything about you, well, "In what state did you leave my slaves?"

The angels reply: "When we left them they were praying and when we reached them, they were praying."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"If one of you supplicates, do not say, 'O Allah, forgive me if You will.'

But instead you should ask with will and conviction, for there is nothing so great to Allah that He cannot grant it."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Ask Allah for forgiveness and ease in this world and in the next, for if you are given ease in this world and in the next, you will have attained success."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

Surely there is in the body a small piece of flesh; if it is good, the whole body is good, and if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted. Know that it is the heart."

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"The most virtuous behavior is to engage those who sever relations, to give to those who withhold from you, and to forgive those who wrong you."

“This religion is easy.

No one becomes harsh and strict in the religion without it overwhelming him.

So fulfill your duties as best you can and rejoice.

Rely upon the efforts of the morning and the evening and a little at night and you will reach your goal.”

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"No one of you shall become a true believer until he desires for his brother what he desires for himself".

“A believer towards another believer is like a building in which each part supports the others.”

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) said:

"I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate.

Thus he who does an action for someone else's sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me. "

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Mary, the daughter of Imran, was the best among the women (of the world of her time) and Khadija is the best amongst the women (of this nation)."

"Eat together and not separately, for the blessing is associated with the company."

Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him said:

“The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant. From whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it. But when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again.

Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but remains patient until Allah removes the difficulty)”

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Shake hands and rancor will disappear.

Give presents to each other and enmity will disappear."

"Take advantage of five conditions before five others:

youth before old age,

good health before illness,

prosperity before poverty,

free time before becoming occupied,

and life before death."

"Food for two suffices three; and food for three suffices four.''

"Do not turn away a poor man even if all you can give is half a date.

If you love the poor and bring them near you, Allah will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection."
