I am done with Trump discussions

And I am trying to hold up your assertion that "the left cannot have a conversation about anything without using insults" by asking you to look to the interviews and rallies over the last months, and count the insults against the left by Trump and Vance, compare them to those against the right by Harris and Walz. I do not think you will like what you find. It will make your own bias more evident to you than you have ever allowed you to acknowledge, even to yourself.
Yeah, just bring Trump into the conversation to derail it. He has nothing to do with my comment. I don't think you can help yourself so I understand.

And I understand, too.

One way or another, one day we might figure out which of us had the better understanding. Sure, Trump might win -- and I'll be happy to dialogue with you in a couple of years and ask how you're feeling about it. I have, I must say it, some confidence that you might very well experience some measure of buyer's regret.

Shall we leave it until then?

Are you kidding me,? Harris is a total basket case for a president. I can't even imagine her standing up to countries like Russia and Iran among other hostile countries much less doing anything about our own domestic problems.

She handled Trump pretty well during their debate.

Trump is clearly a doer, Harris is obviously a hider who simply won't do jack **** about anything because she can't handle the job.

He is a doer, but does he do the right things? How is Harris "hiding" from the job?

I find it strange that Trump supporters have a problem with people throwing around insults ... unless it's Trump. Then anything goes!
Double standards much?
Another person that cannot have a conversation without bringing trump into it. It’s a sickness.

I find it strange that people that are against trumps insults have no problem insulting him. Double standard much?

Please point out where I've engaged in that.

I just pointed out where you did.

I said on your side. Not you specifically. And I never said I support Trump's insults. I support his policies.

You don't even know what side I'm on. And yet you want to claim "my side" does something, that I myself have not done. That you can't point out anywhere in our discussion.

So no, you don't get to just accuse "my side" of doing the very thing you've just done, just so you can wiggle out of your own comments.

This is what you had said:
"Why the insults? Again you guys cannot have a civil conversation about anything. Again it is a sickness. Have a great evening!"

Trump insults people with comedy. He does not attack with hate or fear. Crooked Hillary, Sleepy Joe, is funny. The worst president and Vice President in history is an exaggeration, making it funny.

The Left is very pretentious, and name calling, with humor, hurts their ego. Trump does not pretend, but he is a doer. The root word, of the word pretentious is "pretend", which includes lies and false aires. Humor seems to cut through that mask and brings out their worst, thereby messing up the pretend, by letting out their inner nasty person, that hide behind the mask.

Trump reminds me of an old fashion guy from an all male construction site, where insulting each other is like a daily male sport. This male sport was sanitized by women liberation and affirmative action. The gals felt uncomfortable, invading the male world, so the men had to stop and not the women adapt; push toward feminization.

Trump brought this male hazing back, to help liberate the men. Historically, men fought in war and to prepare for war, you need to endure hardship, so one needs to be hardened and desensitized. This is done by men, on the same team, practicing with each other, in simulated war conditions. Name calling and insults will toughen you up emotionally; desensitized you so it rolls off you. The Left tries to sanitize comedy. In a job site, you can work and insult at the same time.

In 2016, PC was the Lefty meme,, which means politically correct. That term is not used anymore. It was a pretentious game, designed to control the narrative. One of Trump's major issues was PC, since it was a form of censorship that always benefited the Left. There was no PC to protect religion. There was no PC terms to protect the Political Right or even men. It was a censorship game. Trump did the opposite to help men man up.

PC was a feminization strategy. Men are misogynistic, even though Lefty women hate men more. Females tend to be less Trump friendly. Trumps threatens to let the men out of their PC cages. This year the cages are opening, especially among minority men, who are no longer wish to be with the program, while getting nothing. Obama threatened black men to get back in the DNC cage and vote Harris or be called misogynistic; shackle. The men prefer Trump, since he is an old time male who is tough as toenails. They miss those good ole days of anything goes comedy hazing.

I don't think you are on Trump's side. But I take everything back I said about you. Have a great day.

It is kind of strange, isn't it? The two-party system worked, more or less, through most of America's history. But it has had its drawbacks and weaknesses, some of which may be manifesting themselves in recent years.

It does appear that the country is pulling itself apart, in multiple directions. It's hard to gauge where things are going at this point or what it will look like 5 to 10 years from now.

It's almost like we've shredded and lost any semblance of a "national" identity in which we all rally behind irrespective of our other beliefs.

We did once scream from the rooftops after 9/11 "United we stand, divided we fall".

It seems our enemies took note.
