Israel is a serial human rights international law abuser. The UN Human Rights Commission affirms that it violates nearly all 149 articles of the Fourth Geneva Convention that governs the treatment of civilians in war and under occupation and is guilty of grievous war crimes.

You forget to mention that the 4th Geneva Convention was organized specifically to trash Israel. It passed no restrictions or rules on warfare. Further, a good majority of world powers refused to participate in said convention for that reason. The UN Human Rights Commission is a joke and even the members of that group know that. All violations of human rights, however clear, are ignored, unless there is an allegation against Israel.

Look, if Israel were nearly as evil as you like to depict it, there'd be no one crying about human rights violations against "Palestinians" for one simple reason: There would be none left.

Amnesty International has accused Israel of denying Palestinians the right to access adequate water by maintaining total control over the shared water resources and pursuing discriminatory policies.

Oh please, next you're going to be quoting Jimmy Carter. Israel rations water TO ISRAELIS. If there isn't enough water to go around, look at who controls the Jordan River and its aquifer. Since the Oslo Accords, that would be the Palestinian Authority.

Israeli water comes from two sources: Turkish water ships, and Israeli desalination plants(that's the ocean, y'all).

The solution is for the population exchange that began with Jews being transferred from Arab countries to be finished as they welcome their Muslim brethren from "Palestine".

What do you mean? Are you saying that the solution is for all Palestinians to go live in Arab countries?

So what? Hamas has done things much worse to their own people.

Assuming thats true, thats not the point. He posted sources like that because it seemed you weren't acknowledging any barbarities on the Israeli side. You do agree that both Hamas and Israeli government are doing barbaric things, right?

The surrounding Arab countries forced Jews out after rejecting the 1947 partition on behalf of the "Palestinians", so why not?

I'd say it really doesn't matter. The longer you sit pointing fingers at your favorite pariah, the longer it will be before there can be a solution.

It was a disgusting thing to do, why do you want to do something similar to someone else?

Also Israel has already done and is doing here bit in throwing people out.

So now we are talking about a solution. Israel continuing to do what its doing to the full extent is not a solution as i'm sure you realize, its basically you doing whatever you want.

I'd say it really doesn't matter. The longer you sit pointing fingers at your favorite pariah, the longer it will be before there can be a solution.

However somethings need to be acknowledged for a solution to ever be reached. As long as you refuse to take any blame, and even go to the extent of justifying horrifying things that are done to human beings, there certainly won't be one.

Great! is this one of those threads where people post utube videos and anti Israel posts and anti PA and Hamas videos and posts back and forth until its closed down. Threads like this add nothing to the understanding of others to the situation.
Yep, seems to be going that way.

Yep, seems to be going that way.

Uh-huh. There's plenty of unbalanced and biased propaganda to go round on either side, and it doesn't help that most of the world's press doesn't want to look at things in a particularly nuanced way, either.

As long as it's about demonstrating your vitriol instead of thinking about practical solutions, nothing will ever happen.

And in any case, I don't know where people get the strength for all this. I've done my time popping up to counter anti-Israel libels, and to try to sort out fact from hyperbole in Palestinian propaganda, and to be the reasoned objector to ultra-right-wing Israeli propaganda, and to try and inject a little historical fact into these kinds of debates, and it never accomplishes much (if anything) and I'm just tired of it all. There's just too much blind hatred and political zealotry out there. If people want to spew hate and uninformed crap, they're welcome to do so. It won't change matters, and it won't help anything, and I'm washing my hands of it all.

So Amnesty International and UN human rights are full of blind hatred?
