Illegals. Where do we draw a line on the law or should we?

As per the 2016 and 17 budgets 270 million USD was assigned to the Northern Triangle. In 2019 it was 1 billion.
The USA supplies very little humanitarian aid.
We supply lots of military aid.

We'll pay for guns. But clean water and medical care and education?
We can't afford that!

Yes. Remember your sides talking point. The area is dangerous and crime stricken . Who do you think will solve that problem? A loaf of bread?

No as those governments use that money how they please and their own taxes.

Never said that. I was pointing out money has been thrown at those nations for years. Failed states are failed states.

Heck, we don't even provide affordable medical care for our own people.

Why do the Christian Capitalists in the USA refuse to see that it's hiring illegal immigrants that's causing the problem?

Not poor people looking for work.

Denial.. I think they rather enjoy the wall building hysteria and drama. Old men sometimes get so little attention that ranting and raving is all they have.

Nope as you didn't talk about actual foreign aid ie the facts. You babbled about event decades ago and Iraq. Try again.
OK
When did the USA spend as many taxpayer dollars providing potable water in the third world as it does supplying Israel with military hardware?

The USA aid to Israel is around 3 billion in 2017. The US provides 34 billion to OECD in 2017 (just one organization). It provides 1.5 trillion to the UN itself. UN records show about 6.6 billion just to its humanitarian branch.

And does that operation fund as much humanitarian aid as it does corporate welfare?
Kind of like when the Bush II administration promised $15 billions in AIDS treatment for Africa, but then restricted the far smaller amount that actually got through Congress to the most expensive possible supplier(USA pharmaceutical corporations that owned Congress) and next to nothing ever happened?
Except that US pharmaceutical corporations made a ton of money? Taxpayer money?

Foreign aid vs domestic policy. Apples vs Oranges. Also figure out how priorities work.

Citation needed.

FYI the US provides over 6 billion to Bush II's program to combat aids worldwide. Still more aid than it provides to Israel. Total is close to 70 billion.

FYI even Vox praises the program from Bush II. Think about that.

Do not get me wrong. I think a lot of foreign aid needs to be cut. Foreign aid is not humanitarian aid. There are nations that do not need it like Israel. There are governments that do not deserve it like Egypt. However there is a point in which people must look outside the aid (all types) bubble to assess if a government and nation-state can recovery or if aid just keeps failed states on life support.

I would like to shift that 3 billion from Israel toward a national health care system. I don't think Israel is hurting for money.

Well Obama shouldnt have been rummaging through Republican trash bins looking for already long ago rejected ideas.

Mass. ditches RomneyCare exchange

It's not bipartisan if the Republicans already threw it out in 2014 into the trash heap.
Why did they throw it out on the trash heap, when it was created by a Republican think tank, and put into operation by the 2012 Republican nominee for POTUS?

Probably because the Republicans are more interested in partisanship than the American people.
Feel free to give me another reason.

I understand there will be kids involved but IMO that's the fault of the illegal parent(s). Where do we draw a line of bending the law, enforcing the law or overlooking the law?

If this was a state or school breaking the law over religion, people would be all over it. Point being breaking the law is breaking the law or have we came to picking and choosing the laws we break dependant upon what we think? Isn't illegal, illegal?

Cities prepare for showdown with Trump over ICE raids: You 'have to come through us'

"In Denver, Mayor Michael Hancock said city police officers would avoid helping ICE agents but said city human service workers were on alert to assist any minor children left behind if their parents are arrested.

In many cases, immigrants who lack legal permission to remain in the United States have minor children who are U.S. citizens. That puts officials in liberal cities like Denver or San Francisco in the tough position of opposing the ICE raids themselves but still having to manage the consequences."

Drawing the line is long overdue. We currently reward those who illegally enter this country and have for decades. That in turn compels the flow of illegals to continue and even increase, as we know in these last few years.
When you're going to be rewarded for violating a nations border and laws by that nations law, what's not to love?
