Is atheism a threat to humanity?

No, they are not.

First of all, that's not really a law in the classical sense of the world.
Secondly, we all know about causality.

The question you are being asked is if you understand the difference between "cause" and "purpose". Apparantly you do not.

But different sides.
Like all thumbs are fingers but not all fingers are thumbs.
Likewise, not all causes have some purpose, like you seem to be implying.
Some causes have. Many don't.

What makes you think there was a purpose behind it?

what makes you think there is none ?

"heart" = Mind = SPIRIT

So, again with the poetic notions that don't actually properly reflect actual reality then.

And, we are , what we are...."Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks " ( Mathew 12:34 )
and note, I didn't call anyone a "snake" ( yet ).

I don't care what your bible says. Just like you likely don't care what the quran or the bagavad ghita says.

I saw the question, but I didn't understand it.
Speaking clearly rather than cryptically would help.

I'm not aware that I'm speaking "cryptically", as you say.
This is the way I think, and the way I speak, and not some kind of "act" if that is what you are referring to.

If I were to do that, then I would be like you....and that "mask" you put on every day,
the one that most people know you by.

Only they don't know the real you...….like I do.
Is this what disturbs you ?

And the nonsensical blabbing continues.

No, I'm not "rotting". I'm "aging", which is not the same thing. If I would be "rotting", i'ld be dead in a matter of days at most.

Secondly, I don't wash because I age. I wash for hygiene purposes.

Yes, of course...
and don't forget that "deodorant" ( TO MASK THE ODOR ).

It's been....special.

Can you tell me about an atheist society that has benefited its nation?
When has there ever been an "atheist society?"

How about a charity begun by an atheist?
Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres)
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) International

Humanist Charities
Humanist Charity Funds Disaster Relief Effort - American Humanist Association

How many atheists visited the Southeast to help after Hurricane Katrina?
A Humanist in a Hurricane

Have you ever heard of humanism? Atheists like myself practice it. I suggest you look it up.

The question is HOW you know.

For example, I KNOW that there is no purpose.

So, now we have two conflicting positions. Only one of which can be true.

How do we determine which of our two positions is more likely to be true?

We will determine it by your next move. If you chose to do anything whatsoever going forward, you will prove yourself to be a liar.
Because, if you truly believed there is no purpose for your existence, then you would cease to live.

So now, get busy living, or get busy dying.

You assume that you can know whether you are in a trickster universe or not. You can't.
I made no such assumption.

I merely said I see no reason to suppose that I am in a trickster universe, and therefore I will ignore the idea.

Now, if you think that there is some reason to suppose that you DO live in a trickster universe, why don't you tell us what that reason is?

lol.....they are both the same thing, ultimately,
or have you never heard of the law of cause and consequence (effect) ????
like two sides of the same coin....your favorite Idiom...
and I won't tell you why they call them..... "idioms". ( that should be obvious )

So, what CAUSED life to evolve on this planet, and what was the PURPOSE behind it ?

Please proceed...
When did you decide what my favorite idiom is? Isn't that something for me to decide? Or have been given special rights over other people's lives, along with your other assorted "gifts?"

I do not know what caused life to begin on this planet -- that is the subject of abiogenesis, which has not yet been answered.

Once there is life, however, by it's very nature it will evolve. This is simply because life reproduces, the copies are not 100% exact, resources are limited, and some of those copies will make better use of those resources than others -- and those copies will make more copies of themselves and outpace the others. This is 100% natural, and needs to purpose.

As to what "purpose" there may for life, that requires that you assume an entity which has that purpose. Since I know of no such entity, I can't ask it. But since you seem to have tea or something with it regularly, maybe YOU should ask it.

Do you understand that a particle of dust contains MANY atoms ?
Do you understand that your body contains MANY particles of dust ?
Do you understand that what you "think" you are is nothing but "DUST" then ???????
Rubbish.

Your body is made up of cells, which are made up of various things, like proteins and assorted other goodies, which are made up chemicals, which are made up of atoms. 99% of you is made up of six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. Only about 0.85% is composed of another five elements: potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. All 11 are necessary for life. You will please not that all of these are ELEMENTS, not dust (though dust, too, is made up elements).

Try to learn a little something before making pronouncements on what you don't understand in the least.

Don't tell him about all the bacteria that lives in our bodies.
