Like Holly said, not one prophesy has failed -and if you study Bible prophesy and you have taken notes of the signs - there is but one conclusion- all things considered - We truly are living in the 'last days' according to scripture.

i suppose one could ask if Biblical prophesy has ever been proven false

Ezekiel chapt.26 predicted that the city of Tyre would be destroyed by Babylon during the reign of Nebuchadrez'zer.

Didn't happen. In fact, Tyre's still there today.

Sorry Irvin, but you're going to have to show me your math for your claims that 1260, 2300 and 70 all point to anywhere near this time.

I can show you mine. ;)

Quite curious since the forerunners of the Adventists all thought it would start in 1844.

Along with groups from other religions as well. But my point is that I can at least show some math as opposed to just keep repeating some claim with no further explanation. People may not accept the results, of course, but that's another story.

most people agree on the first five books at least.
Agree on what? If you read real statistics, you will find out most of the world does not agree with them in a literal since. For example, most of the world accepts evolution over seven day creation. Most people do not take the plagues, tower of Bable, the flood, or the many other stories in the first five books to be literal. It is simply impossible for most of them to have actually happen.
Take the flood, for instance. The earth always has the same set amount of water, be it in liquid, solid, or gas state. To claim the entire earth was covered in water to deeper than even the highest of mountains, and then the water vanishes, simply is absurd. This water would still be here today, and we would have much water coverage on the earth, as this water would have no place to go.

Well I know none of you are scientist, you have no method or standard of testing truth
Actually, there are a few of them here. I myself am not a scientist, but I still have standard ways of testing for truth. Actually, most people do. Everyone tests and develops there own theories on how things work and the best method of performing an action.

If you say so. This planet is going to be around for a much longer time, and as I previously stated, Bible prophecy is too vague to claim that any of them has happened. But, whatever floats your boat.

Without going into any Messiac prophecy, which according to the Jews, who I am going to guess know these prophecies better than anyone, can you elaborate on any prophecy that is happening today?

1) The question to me is why? We live in the "Information Age" scientist don't believe half the things they used to about the earth. ~Truth Can Withstand Investigation

Actually, there are a few of them here. I myself am not a scientist, but I still have standard ways of testing for truth. Actually, most people do. 2)Everyone tests and develops there own theories on how things work and the best method of performing an action.
2) And that should be in part based upon careful study

3) Lets examine some

Without going into any Messiac prophecy, which according to the Jews, who I am going to guess know these prophecies better than anyone,4) can you elaborate on any prophecy that is happening today?
4) I appreciate the invitation

But before we go into Prophesy I would like to post some comments an information on Evolution?

I don't want people to think that I have an inflated imagination or that I'm some sort of fanatic. Conspiracy Theorist? maybe, but I want to be sure to let everyone know that I base my Prophecy beliefs on the Bible only. Not a church or denomination.

Why I study Bible Prophecy?

"And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe." John 14:29

"Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." Luke 24:25-27

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:21
"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" 2 Peter 1:19
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Revelation 1:1-3

PROPHETIC DATES.--AN IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE IN PROPHETIC INTERPRETATION IN CONNECTION WITH TIME PROPHECIES IS THE YEAR-DAY PRINCIPLE, A DAY OF PROPHETIC TIME IS COUNTED AS A CALENDAR YEAR OF HISTORIC TIME.

BEFORE THE ISRAELITES ENTERED THE LAND OF CANAAN THEY SENT TWELVE SPIES AHEAD TO INVESTIGATE. THE SPIES WERE GONE FORTY DAYS, AND UPON THEIR RETURN THE HEBREWS, FRIGHTENED AT THEIR REPORT, REFUSED TO GO UP AND OCCUPY THE PROMISED LAND. THE RESULT WAS A SENTENCE THE LORD PASSED UPON THEM:
"AFTER THE NUMBER OF THE DAYS IN WHICH YE SEARCHED THE LAND, EVEN FORTY DAYS, EACH DAY FOR A YEAR, SHALL YE BEAR YOUR INIQUITIES, EVEN FORTY YEARS." NUMBERS 14:34.

A SIMILAR METHOD OF COMPUTING FUTURE TIME IS INDICATED THROUGH THE PROPHET EZEKIEL. FORTY YEARS OF PUNISHMENT FOR INIQUITIES AWAITED THE KINGDOM OF JUDAH. THE LORD SAID THROUGH THE PROPHET:
"LIE AGAIN ON THY RIGHT SIDE, AND THOU SHALT BEAR THE INIQUITY OF THE HOUSE OF JUDAH FORTY DAYS: I HAVE APPOINTED THEE EACH DAY FOR A YEAR." EZEKIEL 4:6.

THIS YEAR-DAY PRINCIPLE HAS AN IMPORTANT APPLICATION IN INTERPRETING THE TIME OF THE PROPHECY OF THE
"TWO THOUSAND AND THREE HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS" (DANIEL 8:14, R.V.) AND THE 1260-DAY PERIOD, VARIOUSLY INDICATED AS "A TIME AND TIMES AND THE DIVIDING OF TIME" (DANIEL 7:25), THE "FORTY AND TWO MONTHS" (REVELATION 11:2; 13:5), AND THE "THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND THREESCORE DAYS" (REVELATION 11:3; 12:6).

The 1260 Day Prophecy
Scriptures: Daniel 7:25, Daniel 12:7, Revelation 11:2,
Revelation 11:3, Revelation 12:6, Revelation 12:14, Revelation 13:5

This 1260 day time period is referred to 7 times in the Bible's prophecies; three times as -a time, times, and half a time; twice as 42 months; and twice as 1,260 days.

Based on the 30-day calendar used by the Jews, these time periods are all the same amount of time: 3 1/2 years = 42 months = 1,260 days.

One prophetic day equals one literal year (Ezekiel 4:6; Numbers 14:34).

Thus a terrible persecution of God's people would exist for 1,260 prophetic years

538 A.D. TO 1798 A.D.

A period of only 1260 literal days, only 3 1/2 years, falls absurdly short of fulfilling the requirements of the 1260-day prophecies in regard to the Papacy. But when, by the year-day principle is extended to 1260 years, the prophecy meets a unique fulfillment. In 538 A.D. the Ostragoths abandoned their siege of Rome -- and this left the Bishop of Rome to excercise the perogatives of Justinian's decree of 533 A.D. the power and the authority of the Papacy grew, and grew, and grew.
Exactly 1260 years later the Papcy suffered its "deathblow."
The spectacular victories of the armies of Napoleon in Italy placed the Pope at the mercy of the French Revolutionary Government, which now advised that the Roman Religion would always be a persistant enemy of the Republic.
The government urged Napoleon to destroy the center of unity of the Roman church, and Napoleon did just that.
In 1798 the French general Berthier, with a French army, marched into Rome and proclaimed the political rule of the Papcy at an end and took the Pope prisoner. The Pope was removed to France where he died in exile.
The 1260 year rule of the Papacy was finished.

In chapter 13 (verses 1-10) is described another beast, "like unto a leopard," to which the dragon gave "his power, and his seat, and great authority." This symbol, as most Protestants have believed, represents the papacy, which succeeded to the power and seat and authority once held by the ancient Roman empire. Of the leopardlike beast it is declared: "There was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies. . . . And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." This prophecy, which is nearly identical with the description of the little horn of Daniel 7, unquestionably points to the papacy.
"Power was given unto him to continue forty and two months." And, says the prophet, "I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death." And again: "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword." The forty and two months are the same as the "time and times and the dividing of time," three years and a half, or 1260 days, of Daniel 7-- the time during which the papal power was to oppress God's people. This period, as stated in preceding chapters, began with the supremacy of the papacy, A.D. 538, and terminated in 1798. At that time the pope was made captive by the French army, the papal power received its deadly wound, and the prediction was fulfilled, "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity."

I figured it out when I saw 1798. I did this study via mail with the 7th day adventists.
