I have the same access to historians that you have. The last pagans of Germany were the Saxons who were forcefully converted in the end of the sixth century. They had no impact on the traditions that Christians developed in teh 16th century because they were gone and forgotten.
Well that is just untrue. Folklore traditions myths and other things still linger, one day when we flush abrahamic religion from our lands, we can rediscover our pre christian spirituality and innate cultural identity.

How did the churches back when celabrate

This explains everything from the Celtic fire festival to the churches adoption and modifications, all the way through to our modern interpretation of halloween.

"Santa Claus may owe his earliest influence to Odin (also known as Wodan), a god revered by Germanic peoples in Northern Europe as early as 2 B.C.E. Odin was celebrated during Yule, a pagan holiday that took place midwinter. During this time, Odin was said to lead the Wild Hunt, a ghostly procession through the sky."

I would advise against uncritically accepting whatever you find on the internet.

Saint Nick wasn’t even a Northern European saint, and the (remarkably feeble) connections between him and Odin are mostly based on a modern American poem after he had been long established, not ancient tradition.

They are the symbols of eternal life, the evergreen of holly and ivy, the red blood breast of robins, all symbols of life overcoming death, and winter was a time of death, in the cold north.
NOT the Levant...

Are you aware that Christians also live in the cold north and thus created their own traditions based on their experiences in the cold north?

All cultures create their own traditions its not like the only 2 choices are “Jesus did it” or “stole it from the pagans”

Just stop. I am not interested in debating this any more. Lets agree to disagree.

Now, easter bunnies and easter eggs, were are they in the Bible?

Symbols of renewal and new life.
Exactly, which is why they are associated with Spring, since it is in spring that most animals go into heat. Again, paganism doesn't have a monopoly on enjoying springtime. Even we Jews put a roasted egg on our Passover plates.

Wow. As a Jew, I do not celebrate Christmas. But I don't hate it either. I'm baffled as to the source of your anger.
I hate everything about it, it annoys me. I don't appreciate the nonsense and expense that comes with it. I don't want presents. I don't want to buy presents. Buy yourself a present and pretend its from me.
It's tacky and tasteless, its a time of increased road deaths and higher rates of suicide. I am not a fan!

There is something just a little bit disturbing that you are so angry about others enjoying their holiday. They are not harming you with their Christmas trees or their Easter hams. They are just having a good time.

Its inflicted on the rest of us. Most unfairly.
Oh Pfffft. I'm a Jew living in Southern California. I do not celebrate Christmas. It's all around me in the culture, but it's not a big deal. There is no infliction. If you don't want to celebrate Christmas, then don't. But this hatred makes no sense. There is something missing in your story -- as it stands right now, it makes no sense. But your back story is not my business, so you are not under any obligation to share.

Humbug!
That's all there is to say at the moment. Christmas. Silly. Back stories? I would love to bore you all with why I intensely revile the festive season. Maybe when it's December. When my patience has already worn thin. ;)
