Is promiscuous sexual behavior healthy?

Me Myself

Maybe, that doesn't sound healthy to me... Doesn't sound like a healthy respect for women or for yourself. Is my attitude too old fashioned and unreasonable?

Absolutely.

Sex is good. It releases endorphin keeps one fit and done correctly both get pleasure and give pleasure.

sounds perfect to me.

What I would say is unhealthy is to not take the necessary precautions around it.

I recently got chewed out on an atheist blog for a comment where I suggested that "slutty" behavior isn't healthy, normal, and praiseworthy. Any thoughts? Should I be more sexually enlightened?

If you are slutty but u use condom and u don't suck ill *****, then you are super-healthy, super praiseworthy and u are living your life as everyone should do! So learn from sluttys man

I have sex with different partners. I do it safe, it's a fun recreational activity.
It works for me. Other people's choices in this matter is no concern of mine.

Can you define promiscuity?

I must be terribly old-fashioned, I think sex should be reserved for those who are in love preferably married.

You do not need love to have sex nor do you need sex to have love.

Sex without love can be more exciting for some because of the spontinaity and mystery. Sex with love can be more fullfilling for some because of the closeness and intimate sharing.

Well, Christine, let me put it this way: do you think your standards should be forced on other people, whether through actual force or relatively mild social pressure?

That's the crux of the issue for me.
