Muhammad received Word of revelation directly from the One-True-God, the original source of all messengers/prophets as the previous revelations had been tampered with and corrupted.

So Muhammad did not copy anything mentioned in Quran from any scripture in the region he lived in or the world at large, he did not adapt anything and he plagiarized nothing from any other source . In fact he did not author anything written in Quran. He took the whole of Quran it from the Origin.

It is your argument that Muhammad was unaware of the Abraham religions? Then you further say he didn't even have to put in his own ideas? This is just naive, if some goat-herder told me this happened to them he would not be believed. Not because it is impossible but because I'd consider someone a liar for making extraordinary claims before believing something miraculous happened. People are so gullible, Mohamed could have said you can't see the quran except through spiritual eyes and the gullible would believe it hook line and sinker. This doesn't encourage an optimistic view of humanity for me.

Not everything in the Quran was plagiarized from the bible. The concept of creation, Abraham, Moses, God, resurrection, moral, social and personal conduct/diet/hygiene were all well known from the Bible which was also reproduced in the Quran.

One has to ask why would God who revealed his laws and commandments to the Jews would visit an illiterate Arab 2000 years later and inspire Mohammad to start a new religion called Islam which is very similar to Judaism and Christianity. Mohammad was a military leader not a religious Rabbi.

When you consider only about 6000 verses are found in the Quran compared to 30,000 verses in the Bible. The Quran is incomplete. Allah shared less with Mohammad than he did with the Jewish prophets.

Surah 20-28 & Exodus.

Whoever wrote the Quran took a mythical Hebrew story of exile and changed some details to lift up the concept of this new religion - The Quran simply piggy-backs onto the predominate literature of the Judeo-Christian tradition for its own benefit.

It is no more inspired by a divine being than are the ingredient labels on the spaghetti-o's in my my pantry.

I don't think any religious text is copied word for word, now that isn't the point is it?

Is that your only point that the quran is not copied word for word in its entirety? Don't waist time we already know that.

Was some of the mythology copied? Absolutely and you refuse to address the valid issues of any mythology that may have been "copied".

We pointed out stuff from jewish tradition. Paarsurrey, Muslim sounds very much like a Abrahamic religion believe it or not.

No. I mean the whole section. Surah 20-28. All of it. Even the modern asides.

By the way, in Surah 20:85-88, is Samiri a name or does it refer to a Samaritan?

Haman...the guy supposedly helping Pharaoh - was that a mistake, or are they referring to the Babylonian?

Paarsurrey, Muslim sounds very much like a Abrahamic religion believe it or not.

Quran claims that it has the lasting teaching in it, the time-tested and beneficial for humanity that were revealed by G-d to the founders of other/all revealed religions. Being from the same source of one true G-d, it is neither copying from them nor plagiarizing from them nor adapting from them, it is purifying the corrupted books:

The Holy Quran : Chapter 98: Al-Bayyinah

[98:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[98:2] Those who disbelieve from among the People of the Book and the idolaters would not desist from disbelief until there came to them the clear evidence —
[98:3] A Messenger from Allah, reciting unto them the pure Scriptures.
[98:4] Therein are lasting commandments*.
[98:5] And those to whom the Book was given did not become divided until after clear evidence had come to them.
[98:6] And they were not commanded but to serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, and being upright, and to observe Prayer, and pay the Zakat. And that is the religion of the people of the right path.

What you call purifying I call whitewashing. The reason is because you all prefer your prophets to be perfect but nobody expects any humans to be perfect even prophets. The quran is a whitewashed torah, just cause it sounds better, tickles the ears, more palatable, doesn't make it true. If it more believable its cause it is confirmation bias plain and simple.

To whitewash is a metaphor meaning to gloss over or cover up vices, crimes or scandals or to exonerate by means of a perfunctory investigation or through biased presentation of data.

Not in the sense that they do not make mistakes. To err is human and any human may/can make mistakes and everybody does it.

Then you admit you believe that the historical character of Moses actually existed, that an Egyptian Pharaoh exiled the Jews from Egypt, and that Moses was part of the that Egyptian court? You believe that this is a true statement revealed by your god to Mohammed, since it's in the Quran, right?

The prophet Mohammad not only plagiarized the characters from the Bible. He even built on the stories to make him appear bigger than life.

Here the prophet claims he ascended to heaven and saw Adam, Moses, Jesus etc. but that is a direct contradiction of the Bible which says no one entered heaven except Jesus.

The Ascension to Heaven

Prophet Muhammad ascended to the second level of heaven, meeting with Yahya son of Zachariah and Jesus son of Mary.
Then came Mi’raj, Prophet Muhammad ascended to the heavens – the Ascension – as we are told, followed Prophet Muhammad to the first level of Heaven. This is where he met Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) in his celestial form. The Prophets exchanged greetings and the first man and first Prophet known to mankind testified that Muhammad was the Prophet of God.

Prophet Muhammad ascended to the second level of heaven, meeting with Yahya son of Zachariah and Jesus son of Mary. They greeted each other, and then the cousins again testified to Muhammad’s Prophethood.

The same exchanges took place on the third and fourth levels of heaven with Prophet Joseph and Prophet Idris (peace be upon them) respectively. Prophet Harun made his testimony when met at the fifth level of heaven.

At the sixth level of heaven, Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) greeted Prophet Muhammad, gave his declaration of faith and wept. “The reason for my tears is that a youth was commissioned as a Prophet after me, but his followers will enter heaven in greater numbers than mine.”
Needless to say, this wasn’t the only interaction with Moses as the Apostle of God would meet him again during his descent.

At the seventh level of heaven, Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was resting against Al-Bait Al-Ma’mur, a celestial house of worship, which seventy thousand different angels circumambulate daily. The Prophets exchanged greetings and Abraham gave his testimony of faith.

Prophet Muhammad was then led to Sidrat Al-Muntaha, a tree of Paradise, with a shade so far for the eye to see and with beauty beyond description. The tree is also known as the Lote tree or the Lote tree of the Uttermost End. This was the summit of the Ascension:

{Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass: Near it is the Garden of Abode. Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!) (His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong! For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest!} (An-Najm 53: 14-8)

The Lote tree marks the roots of God’s Throne and marks the end of the knowledge of every knower, be he Arch Angel or Prophet or Messenger. The Lote tree also marked the boundary where no soul had passed before. It was there that God prescribed 50 daily prayers for Muslim believers and Prophet Muhammad, after a meeting of such proximity descended through the layers of heaven.

He was stopped by Moses who was aghast at the number of prescribed daily prayers. He ushered the Prophet Muhammad to negotiate to lessen the burden. In some narrations, Prophet Muhammad made a few trips until the prescribed prayer was allocated at 5 daily prayers, and even so Moses was convinced that such a heavy burden would deter his followers from the faith. But the Prophet felt ashamed when the Lord stopped at five, thus the prescribed prayers for Muslims until this very day is five prayers as ordained by God.

It was time for descent and nearly dawn. Gabriel, Buraq and Prophet Muhammad descended to Jerusalem and made their way back to Makkah. As they crossed the sands, they overtook caravans on the way to the city.
