Not in the sense that they do not make mistakes. To err is human and any human may/can make mistakes and everybody does it.

Then why insist that the prophets are sinless and deny the stories of the prophets as told in the tanakh? Cause your grasping at straws.

Do you believe prophet Mohammad ascended to heaven?

The Ascension to Heaven

Prophet Muhammad ascended to the second level of heaven, meeting with Yahya son of Zachariah and Jesus son of Mary.
Then came Mi’raj, Prophet Muhammad ascended to the heavens – the Ascension – as we are told, followed Prophet Muhammad to the first level of Heaven. This is where he met Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) in his celestial form. The Prophets exchanged greetings and the first man and first Prophet known to mankind testified that Muhammad was the Prophet of God.

Prophet Muhammad ascended to the second level of heaven, meeting with Yahya son of Zachariah and Jesus son of Mary. They greeted each other, and then the cousins again testified to Muhammad’s Prophethood.

The same exchanges took place on the third and fourth levels of heaven with Prophet Joseph and Prophet Idris (peace be upon them) respectively. Prophet Harun made his testimony when met at the fifth level of heaven.

At the sixth level of heaven, Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) greeted Prophet Muhammad, gave his declaration of faith and wept. “The reason for my tears is that a youth was commissioned as a Prophet after me, but his followers will enter heaven in greater numbers than mine.”
Needless to say, this wasn’t the only interaction with Moses as the Apostle of God would meet him again during his descent.

At the seventh level of heaven, Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was resting against Al-Bait Al-Ma’mur, a celestial house of worship, which seventy thousand different angels circumambulate daily. The Prophets exchanged greetings and Abraham gave his testimony of faith.

Prophet Muhammad was then led to Sidrat Al-Muntaha, a tree of Paradise, with a shade so far for the eye to see and with beauty beyond description. The tree is also known as the Lote tree or the Lote tree of the Uttermost End. This was the summit of the Ascension:

{Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass: Near it is the Garden of Abode. Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!) (His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong! For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest!} (An-Najm 53: 14-8)

The Lote tree marks the roots of God’s Throne and marks the end of the knowledge of every knower, be he Arch Angel or Prophet or Messenger. The Lote tree also marked the boundary where no soul had passed before. It was there that God prescribed 50 daily prayers for Muslim believers and Prophet Muhammad, after a meeting of such proximity descended through the layers of heaven.

He was stopped by Moses who was aghast at the number of prescribed daily prayers. He ushered the Prophet Muhammad to negotiate to lessen the burden. In some narrations, Prophet Muhammad made a few trips until the prescribed prayer was allocated at 5 daily prayers, and even so Moses was convinced that such a heavy burden would deter his followers from the faith. But the Prophet felt ashamed when the Lord stopped at five, thus the prescribed prayers for Muslims until this very day is five prayers as ordained by God.

It was time for descent and nearly dawn. Gabriel, Buraq and Prophet Muhammad descended to Jerusalem and made their way back to Makkah. As they crossed the sands, they overtook caravans on the way to the city.

Sins are different from mistakes.

Torah scribes did not realize the difference and hence they put slander on the innocent prophets/messengers. This is one reason they made real characters to look like unreal, mythical with their corruption.

They didn't slander, its just mythology. Mythology that was taken as truth and whitewashed all the bad parts out. Well its clever cause that means the quran just tells people what they want to hear but that doesn't make it true.

The Holy Quran : Chapter 79: Al-Nazi`at: [4]

[79:37] And Hell will be made manifest to him who sees.
[79:38] Then, as for him who rebels,
[79:39] And who chooses the life of this world,
[79:40] The Fire of Hell shall surely be his home.
[79:41] But as for him who fears to stand before his Lord, and restrains his soul from evil desires,
[79:42] The Garden shall surely be his home.
[79:43] They ask thee concerning the Hour: ‘When will it come?’
[79:44] But what hast thou to do with the mentioning thereof?
[79:45] The ultimate knowledge of it rests with thy Lord.
[79:46] Thou art only a Warner unto him who fears it.
[79:47] On the day when they see it, they will feel as if they had not tarried in the worldbut an evening or a morn thereof.

Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and other prophets/messengers of G-d; all of them, their souls, ascended to heaven after their physical and natural death.
None of them ascended to heaven bodily while they were alive, and none of them can/could return physically and literally to this world after when they have died and entered heaven.

The Tanakh or the the Old Testament tell of some sins of whom you call prophets.

Genesis 9:20, Noah was supposedly the first to grow grapes and made wine, and got intoxicated, and according to Islam, drinking alcohol is considered a sin. The Qur'an leave that out.

In Exodus 2:11-15, Moses had murdered an Egyptian, hence a sin. The Qur'an 28:15 seemed to indicate the death was accidental, and blame Satan for his action.

In the story of king David and Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11), he committed adultery with his friend's wife, got Bathsheba pregnant, and arranged so Uriah was killed and married her. In Islam, David was considered a prophet. The Qur'an leave out this story, while Hadiths indicated that David didn't commit adultery, and only married Bathsheba when she became widow.

All three stories are contradicted by Islamic versions. To me, Islam whitewash the original versions, creating alternative myths. The Qur'an and Islamic traditions adapted the original versions, and made the prophets less than human.

The Holy Quran : Chapter 78: Al-Naba' [1]

[78:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[78:2] About what do they question one another?
[78:3] About the great Event,
[78:4] Concerning which they differ.
[78:5] Nay, soon they will come to know.
[78:6] Nay, We say it again, they will soon come to know.
[78:7] Have We not made the earth a bed,
[78:8] And the mountains as pegs?
[78:9] And We have created you in pairs,
[78:10] And We have made your sleep for rest,

I have so far quoted following 37 short but full chapters from Quran in this thread: [Summary]

79. Al-Nazi`at,80. `Abasa,81. Al-Takwir,82. Al-Infitar, 83. Al-Tatfif,84. Al-Inshiqaq,85. Al-Buruj,86. Al-Tariq,87. Al-A`la,88. Al-Ghashiyah,89. Al-Fajr,90. Al-Balad,91. Al-Shams,92. Al-Lail,93. Al-Duha,94. Al-Inshirah,95. Al-Tin,96. Al-`Alaq,97. Al-Qadr,98. Al-Bayyinah,99. Al-Zilzal,100. Al-`Adiyat,101. Al-Qari`ah,102. Al-Takathur,103. Al-`Asr,104. Al-Humazah,105. Al-Fil,106. Al-Quraish,107. Al-Ma`un,108. Al-Kauthar,109. Al-Kafirun,110. Al-Nasr,111. Al-Lahab,112. Al-Ikhlas,113. Al-Falaq,114. Al-Nas,1. Al-Fatihah. 14. Ibrahim.

Our Jewish (or non-Jewish) friends have not been able to quote or reference places of Torah where any of the verses of these thirty seven Quranic chapters have been copied/plagiarized/adapted from.

There being 114 Surahs/chapters in Quran. Number-wise this makes more than 1/3 of Quran.

We can therefore conclude with 100% certainty that 0% of verses of these chapters of Quran have been copied/plagiarized/adapted from Torah.

Quran is, therefore, the Word Revealed from G-d and authored by Him and is original.

It is not matter of right and wrong, paarsurrey.

It is a matter of 2 different versions of each event...or where the story appeared in the Jewish version, but not mentioned at all, or vice versa.

But I do find that the Qur'anic versions in the narratives have the tendencies to borrow not only canonical biblical versions, but borrow from apocryphal literature and other rabbinical folktales. And these borrowings of discredited myths and fables, demonstrated that the Qur'an is man-made and based on superstitions.

The Qur'an narratives are written in disjointed styles and

Reading the life of Moses, for instance, I have to piece together the verses in at least a dozen different widely scatter chapters, between sura 2 and sura 79. Often when I read it talk about something, then read about Moses midway of the chapter, before it talk about something else not related to Moses.

The author jump from one subject to another with alarming frequencies.

This prove the author is human with imperfect skill in telling story. If Allah was truly the author of the Qur'an, then he must suffer from schizophrenia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Quran does not mention that it narrates stories, so to read Quran and expect that Quran would give the stories of individual persons is not reasonable and rational.

Quran is not racial so it won't give narratives for racial purposes.

The purpose as to why an individual is mentioned in a chapter of Quran could be ascertained from the context of the verses.

It is not difficult, just try it, and you will know. Please
