I think that maybe overseas heterosexual women are too harsh on men... because there is another culture, another vision of manhood.

Question: regarding women who would rather run into a man in the woods than a bear--does it mean that they hate bears?

If not, then regarding women who would rather run into a bear in the woods than a man--it does not follow that they hate men.

It's a pragmatic choice--and the stats show that she would have a better chance encountering a bear than a man.
