Jesus in Heaven is not God

Who did Jesus look like? Joseph, Mary or God?

It seems John the Baptist was also miraculously conceived?
Since I have never seen Jesus, I am not sure who he looked like . . . all I know is that he was a human being.

John the Baptist conception was a miracle to his parents who were beyond childbearing age.

Mary ga'e her consent when the angel visited her: And Mary said, 'Behold I am the servant of the Lord (God); let it be to me according to your word.' And the angel departed from her."

Maybe it was that Angel that consecrated the whole affair .. like those demi-Gods who came down and had sex with earthly maidens in Genesis prior to the flood ..

Jesus did not preexist his birth - his beginning, his origin, his genesis. We do not all "come from God". Although each child given to parents are considered blessings; we come from our parents through natural procreation but our new birth through faith in Christ comes from God.

I cannot comment on the reference in Mark 3:20,21 because there is really not enough information in the text to draw a clear conclusion. "And when his family heard it . . . what did they hear?
Read Mark 3 for context. Its when his family heard of his public teaching and activities.

Jesus came down from heaven where he existed from the eternal past. He returned to heaven with all power and authority. He is a deity weather you believe it or not.

Jesus looked like his earth Father Joseph because he was conceived the normal way. Nobody in Nazareth or Israel knew anything about Mary getting pregnant by the holy spirit. That was added later.

John 1

New International Version

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.

Clever rationalization!

And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.........when I was just a glorified plan in your head!

When Jesus returned to heaven did he return to being a glorified plan or is he still a personality relaity?
Jesus was the FULFILMENT of the plan.

Did he have all power and authority before he came to earth? You forgot to mention that Jesus was Almighty God in Heaven and gave it all up to become man…. Isn’t that what debunkers of the truth say… isn’t that the Pagan belief?

I don't believe so.

I don't believe it is out of the realm of possibility .. and is it not the Biblical way things are done ? .. Mary gets a visitation by one of those demi-gods "Angels" if that is the term you prefer .. who came to know Mary .. who delivered the seed .. so to speak.

Jesus is fully man .. and knows not his Father according to Mark's gospel .. nor is Jesus well aquainted with "The Father" - presumably does not know of his half man/half god status until he meets with John the Baptist as a man of 30.

Only then does the Most High God reveal to us that he will adopt Jesus as his Son .. The Son of Man .. in the physical sense .. Son of God in sense of one being adopted by God.

Even after the Christening .. we do not know if Jesus is yet divine .. first he must go through the ritual trial .. pass a few tests.. like the Pharonic King making ritual .. only after you pass through the test/ritual do you get the half man /half God Status.

Then in that Ritual .. we meet one of these "Sons of God" .. of similar or greater stature to the ones we met in Genesis .. and in Job.

and who is this God who is sent to Test Jesus ? Pleased to meet you .. our Good friend the Tester .. one of the Son's of God mentioned in Job .. an entity with some serious God- powers .. including not just hurling thunderbolts .. but power over the entire earth.

This demi-God .. sent by the Most High God .. to test our Lord and Savior. Jesus passes the test .. survives .. and goes on to perform many works of wonder .. like the hero's of Old .. offspring of human and God .. told to us in Genesis.. 6 NIV

When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
So you see .. these Sons of God took many a human Bride .. the offspring of which were the "heroes of old, men of renown"
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

So why would Jesus not be conceived in the same way .. offspring of one of the Sons of God -- and a human .. Mary in this case. Why would it be any different ? Jesus too became a hero .. a wonder worker .. a man of renown.. having divine powers above that of a normal human... but unfortunately not strong enough to save himself from that horrible fate at the hands of the Romans and his fellow Jews.

Jesus never claimed to be God. John never claimed Jesus was God. John informs us no less than 40 times that God the Father sent Jesus. Jesus himself claimed that he came and was sent by God the Father so the complete picture John presents is of Jesus as God his Father's agent - the one sent and the one through whom the Father could be seen in his works and heard in his words. Jesus acted on behalf of God and God is present IN him. John sums up his gospel in this manner: but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life through his name. (John 20:31)

The plan of God for the salvation of mankind: the promised ‘seed of a woman’, the ‘Servant on whom God would place His Spirit’ and did!
Things Jesus never said but concocted by those who don’t believe in his preexistence or divinity. You would have rejected him on the same grounds as the Hews had you been there.

Yes, it says so in the scriptures:

Jesus speaks of the return of the Son of Man coming with the clouds along with angels of God:
  • “You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (Matt 26:64)

Because the scriptures say that Mary conceived Jesus via the Holy Spirit, the power of the Most High.

The angels of the Genesis record sinned and are being held in chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the day of judgment so I doubt they were sent by God. (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6)

What do you think… how do you feel… when you see the response that debunks your thoughts?

I feel you feel threatened by the truth. It makes you fearfilied that all this time you have been believing incorrectly.

It’s ok as long as you head the truth that is being shown to you - the one who turns from his false ways is glorified on in Heaven!

You haven't debunked anything, rather you quote things Jesus never said in defense of your unbelief about the true identity if the Son of man who came down from heaven.
