Son of his Father: The Heir and Prince
I don’t care about what another poster says… learner Daniel doesn’t know what he’s talking about so what he says can hardly be support for your mistaken claims… My suggestion to you would be to lick your allies more carefully. You already supported an erroneous post from him earlier in this thread which wasn’t even worth responding to…!@learner Daniel gives a good explanation here.
Aww… you feel slighted because your misbeluef is pointed out to you… In an infant school, children and teachers are taught not to show up errors in other little children’s thinking as it embarrasses the errant child and makes them timid … or angry! But we are adults!I believe you are giving us what you believe is true, but you often mischaracterize your opponent's argument.
I know more about ‘Quotes’ than you can imagine. Don’t try to teach the teacher!I also believe you could cut down on this immensely by using the forum's quote feature. It's relatively easy to use
That’s not the point… Everyone must see from GOD’s point of view… but if that is too much then see it from Jesus’ point of view - seeing that Jesus ‘Knows the frailties of humanity’. Paraphrasing I use as I’m writing quickly and copy/pasting is tedious unless I’m in a comfortable location with time on my hands - rarely available… I do copy/paste from Bible Hub (my go-to Bible script system) when I need EXACT quotation… otherwise… But tell me, Do you not know the EXACT or paraphrased of the verse of verses that I give you…. Why not? How are you arguing when you do not know what you are talking about - kneejerking a response???Not everyone 'sees' the same as you Soapy. It might help if you could point out these 'HUGE' errors by quoting rather than paraphrasing them.
You don’t make errors??? You don’t lie???No, I made no such error. If I had made an error I would simply correct it in a subsequent post.
Who on earth says, “I don’t make mistakes”? (Paraphrased)
Ha ha ha… yeah, right!! Keep pretending!!!Again, if you could quote this supposed error it might help.
That’s what you believe… that’s what YOU are taught to believe. If you believe that YHWH GOD IS ONE [Person] how can YHWH GOD then also be THREE [PERSONS]?I believe the Father is God and I believe Jesus is God. I do not see the error.
Thank you. I thought you like that!Very good Soapy!
When PROVING A POINT you cannot EXCLUDE critical elements of that proof… or are you saying that your [third] almighty one-from/among-three is worthless so you don’t include it?I do claim a triune God. The topic is whether Jesus, the 2nd person of the triune God, is God, and of course scripture says He is.
Oh, let me see:
- ‘I and the Father are one’ (two only)
- ‘I am going to the Father’ (two only)
- ‘Stephen, looking in vision into heaven, saw the glory of God seated on His throne, and Jesus Christ STANDING next to him’ (only two)
- ‘Eternal life depends on them [true believers] believing in you, the only true God, and [believe also in…] Jesus Christ whom you sent’ (only two)
- Jesus Christ was taken up to heaven and ‘seated next to the Father’ (two only)
- Revelation: ‘He who sat on the throne …and Jesus Christ seeming like a lamb slaughtered standing in front and centre of the throne’ (only two)
- … more? Easily found!
Aha…. Bad excuse… if the three ARE ONE ALMIGHTY GOD you cannot decide to DISRESPECT your third ‘God-person’ and relegate it to oblivion in terms of inclusion. The Father is God, and the Spirit is God, but this thread is specifically about Jesus.
The reason you don’t include the Spirit of God is exactly because the Spirit of God is NOT ALMIGHTY GOD - it is THE SPIRIT that is OF GOD… God’s Spirit… just as it’s stated! Just as SPIRIT OF OESTE is OESTE’S SPIRIT… not ANOTHER PERSON!!
If only you had been around at the time. Surely you would have convinced him otherwise!
Ha ha ha…. No! Of course … I didn’t say that YOU SAID IT… I said that TRINITARIANS claim it as a proof… In any case, every trinitarian DENIES what every trinitarian claims when the trinitarian in focus realises the nonesense that every other trinitarians claims… yeah, go figure!!!As for those other verses (Jesus raising the dead or walking on water), I don't recall using them to support Trinity doctrine.
