No doubt It's Uzair عزير in Arabic.
following is a list of many translations. you'll see that some user Uzair only and others uses Uzain and Ezraa beteen brackets which I disagree.
Muhsin Khan
And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allah's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!
Dr. Ghali
And the Jews have said, "cUzayr (i.e. Ezra) is the son of Allah. "And the Nasara (i.e. the Christians) have said, Al-Masih (The Messiah) is the son of Allah." That is their saying with their mouths, conforming with the saying of the disbelievers earlier. Allah fights them! However are they diverged (into) falsehood? .
Sahih International (wrong translation)
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah ." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
Shakir
And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
Transliteration
Waqalati alyahoodu AAuzayrun ibnu Allahiwaqalati annasara almaseehuibnu Allahi thalika qawluhum bi-afwahihim yudahi-oonaqawla allatheena kafaroo min qablu qatalahumu Allahuanna yu/fakoon
Pickthall (wrong translation)
And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!
Absolutely, I'm serious
There is no joking in religious discussions
There is nothing can be taken as a fact without discussion.
There are many opponents to this openant. It might need a post to discuss.
I've just did some research and there a lot of surprises
Why they've used Jesus instead of Iesau ?
It's not as simple as you're demonstrating it !!!!
It's about Greek and Latin not because of English.
It needs deeper research.
I think it needs a long thread
Fair point. @Augustus did point that out to me earlier but I was too obstinate to admit I was wrong. My apologies.
Thanks for information ,no problem sisterIt is arguable that The Gospel according to Matthew was originally written in Hebrew or Aramaic. That's it. Greek was the language of the day, like English is today. It is 99.99% certain the NT was all in Greek at the start.
Thanks for information ,no problem sister
Greek, Iesous --> Latin, Iesus --> English, Jesus
This is not difficult.
@firedragon I think we both deserve a tea break, lol.
We used to make proverb about people using rude words.Rival is a sister? Crap.
I think Limo beat us to it though, lol. He's definitely had something really strong in his tea.Hmmm. I think we deserve something strong in our tea. Lol.
Well, please don't do that! We need more literate people in the world, not less. I'm not sure what, in the context of this thread, remains unclear though. Yeshua is presumably an Anglicization of the Hebrew name ישוע, and Iesous is an Anglicization of the Greek form of the same name, Ιησούς. Both were common forms of that name at the time, and it is quite likely that our Lord went by both at some point in his life, given the plurilingualism of the Roman-era Near East. If not, then the translation to Greek would have happened very soon after his death, as word of "the way" spread rapidly through the mostly Greek-speaking Eastern Empire. It would make little sense for an early evangelist to insist on a Hebrew-only perspective outside of Judea. And even now, I find it a strange issue to focus on, if one indeed worships a leader whose stance on idolatry was well known. Surely, Jesus himself would not be inclined to make an issue out of how his name is pronounced, or by whom?@LuisDantas @Debater Slayer @Shiranui117 please send me a pre-warning PM or something before I totally lose my turkey with this guy. I'm in a foul mood already. His intent seems to be to tease me and try to make me aggressive. This, as many RFers will know, is surprisingly easy.
Oh and @Politesse can you please explain how Yeshua = Iesous, before I kill myself.
Thanks.

Crap is always ejected through drainage pipe.
@firedragon make me doubt about your genderPeople on here often confuse me for a male. I'm used to it. I had 'female' on my profile for the longest time, too, and people still called me 'he'. Such is life.
Ok , I thought you was disrespect me .Bro. You are absolutely wrong. Crap sometimes comes out of instruments people use to voice their thoughts out of.
Sometimes its just a feeling when you should have given due respect and you didnt.
Crap is such a nice word sometimes. It depicts your feelings exactly. Drainage pipe even as an analogy doesnt cut it.
Peace.
@firedragon make me doubt about your gender
I couldn't find it. Do you've any reference ?
