Men in the West are dressed in full; women are dressed half , quarter or less

i didn't say what woman should or shouldn't wear, its up to her.
but its up to me how to evaluate her according to what she wear.

is't bad if i say that i don't like woman to wear hijab or if she wear bikini.
i am really wonder what mistake i had done in expressing my thoughts or my opinions.
you may say i agree or disagree.

Your "mistake", in my opinion, is judging women based on what they wear. Or don't wear. You can tell absolutely nothing of real significance about a woman from her outfit. Also, it's none of your business. We don't get dressed in the morning thinking "how can we make sure we are favorably judged by FearGod".

No,its ok :)

The scale is just a thought, you may agree or disagree, nothing more.

Obviously I disagree. I think judging people by the way they dress is shallow, arrogant, immature and fundamentally xenophobic.

Why? Why do you feel the need to evaluate her based on what she is wearing? Do you feel the need to evaluate men based on what they are wearing? Why not evaluate her based on her personality, or based on the type of person she really is rather than her choice of clothing?

You can continue to do this, but you won't make many friends that way. ;)

By your own evaluation, can you accept that non-Muslims find women in hijab to be oppressed? Even more oppressed wearing a jilbab? Most oppressed wearing a burqa/niqab? I'm not saying this is how I feel, but can you see how others would see this pattern?

Once again it's all about the viewers immodesty not the woman's.

You "evaluate" her; therefore she must be immodest when you are the one ogling and obsessing enough to pass judgement.

I'm curious... what happens if you see a woman on the beach in a swimsuit then see her later in a pair of pants and a long sleeved shirt? Does her "modesty" change at your whim or is "modesty" a set value?

I've read the last 3 pages of this to see you guys still going on about this and I gotta say...

THERE IS NO SHAME! Feel not ashamed of who you are, whether in lots of clothes, some, or none!

It is natural, it is good, it is just how it should be that we have naked bodies; there is no shame in it!

Anything less than choice is slavery! Hail Satan!

IMO by making women sex symbols and "evaluating" their modesty by clothing or lack thereof, we have allowed men to lack control over their lists and desires...it's like they have to be turned on by seeing some skin.

Yes, men need to learn to control themselves; by doing so, women won't feel like meat. In terms of Islamic clothing, that is surely a case of men being allowed to decide that they want absolutely no responsibility for their part in respecting women and their choices. It's much easier to drop all the responsibility on the women.

I was a little surprised the staff felt renaissance art might be considered offensive enough to hide it with spoiler tags. Any little kid can walk through a museum and see such things.

I know. Who knew that a glance of a boobie would cause severe and irreparable psychological damage to an underage child? ;)

What if the cencorship of tasteful nudity (as in Renaissance art) is offensive to some?

Then which offended party should be appeased: those offended by the nudity or those offended by the censorship?

Those who are offended by censorship should be appeased. Cause that's the party I belong to. That's why.

Janet Jackson's two second flash of a nipple during a superbowl half time caused the traumatization of an entire nation, once.

Trust me, I'm offended by the suggestion that works of art that contain tasteful nudity must be censored in order to "protect" the "underage".

Damn good point.
