Missouri Republicans Introduce Bills to Charge Women Who Receive Abortions With Murder

Meanwhile ...

None of these links say the cause is the abortion ban.

But it would make sense that more babies would be born that have defects etc. with the chance to live might die if born and not terminated. Abortions of children with defects that would not survive would never be born if they were aborted. But the overall children that live would be greatly increased because the majority of babies in the womb don't have defects that would kill them if born.

Sadly it seems not to be possible to have that without having legal abortions. It is almost always a package deal. Sex ed, contraception and women's health care go together while "abstinence only", no healthcare, no social programs and misogyny come together with illegal abortions.
Not with me.

Gynecologists are performing abortions in Womens Health Provider Groups that do not offer abortion?
Sigh. Doesn't it go without saying that abortion is not legal everywhere? Therefore only gynecologists do it where it is legal. It is the only treatment for ectopic pregnancy, incomplete miscarriage, and fatal fetal abnormality. Abortion *is* women's health care.

Those are the same thing.
No. There are healthcare providers that do not do abortions and if Planned Parenthood and the like won't stay in Texas because they cannot do abortions on demand then that says something about how much they care about women's health.

Sure, it matters with different murder charges. Charges for killing human life depends on how it is taken and the motivation behind the killing.

It is taking human life, so yeah it is murder. I have said I would punish the providers for murder and explained already why I would do this instead of the mother.
I still find it interesting that this is a situation
where someone can hire a killer, & suffer
no legal consequences. And do it again.

It would be abortion providers that will be leaving not womens healthcare providers.
Those are the same people.
And often enough abortion is women's healthcare. But the people who write the laws are too often inapt (or unwilling) to formulate exceptions in a way that healthcare providers don't have to fear to come in conflict with the law. (As has happened all over the place. See for example the case were a 10 year old rape victim had to go out-of-state to get an abortion.) Doctors are a pretty arrogant bunch, they don't need a state nanny to tell them what is healthcare and what is murder.
