We watched Legally Blonde 2 last night.

It was OK. Better than I expected (and that's not sayin' much).

We rented "The Producers." Turned it off after about fifteen minutes. I'm just glad I didn't pay to see the play on Broadway.

I haven't had the chance to read all 12 pages of this thread, but have any of you seen United 93?
I did. It was fairly good, nothing special though. "World Trade Center" was better.

I've wanted to watch that move/play. What was wrong with it?

Quite good, I thought. I haven't seen a movie like this in a long time, and it was a good one.

We watched Kill Bill vol. 1 again the other night. This is just one of the coolest movies out there. We'll watch vol. 2 later this week............at least that's the plan.

Last night after putting the kids to bed, Steve and I laughed out loud to Dazed and Confused. I just love Slater in that movie! :)

Peace,

Somebody lent me Galaxy Quest on DVD. I know that we are supposed to watch the movie before we post but I am definately going to watch it tonight. I never saw it before but heard it was good but I have a hard time putting trust in movies that star Tim Allen.

Great movie. Are you/were you a fan of William Shatner's Star Trek at all or are you at least familiar with it? You'll enjoy it more if so.

We got Identity with John Cusack tonight. Haven't watched it yet. Any thoughts>?
I remember that being a very interesting movie, but it's certainly not for those who find grand conceits annoying and search for plot holes afterward. I am personally a big fan of the conceit a la M. Night Shyamalan and others.

I don't think conceits play out that well in TV though, unless the production team has a plan from the inception that the show will only last 1 to 2 seasons. I find all of J.J. Abrams series to be annoyingly labyrinthine. ALIAS in particular got just plain ridiculous and should have folded gracefully long before it did, somewhere in the second or third season.
