You muslims sure are hung up about sexuality, aren't you? How pitiful.

If a woman wants to dress that way, who do you think you are to say otherwise?

And it is up to me if i want to respect her or not.

And you can respect her for being naked, thats up to you.

Whats the problem ?

I personally don't care what u believe as long as ur beliefs are not used to make amendments in law or legal rights ..

What kind of amendments in laws or legal rights ?

Laws depends on each country,no one care about your laws.

in most islamic countries women aren't allowed to sell their bodies for sex,but in other
civilized countries women can rent her body for 1 hour for each customer.

So every country manage it's own laws.

By becoming part of a union or association of countries such as the EU however, a country has to be willing to submit part of their sovereignty on certain issues (for example on economic matters there are issues with regards to common currencies, debt levels etc) if a country takes part in such a union there are constraints on some matters with regards to their sovereignty which is defined in the document they sign when becoming a member nation. If they aren't willing to do so, then they have no business signing such a contract nor becoming a member nation - though to be fair, the extent to which such influences can be made must needs be tightly defined.

It is sometimes painful to see the innocence and denial of common Muslims about what's happening under their nose. Prostitution most definitely exists in Muslim Middle Eastern countries, and there are about 100,000 women who fell to prostitution in Iran alone, not to mention the active sex trafficking industry in those nations.
Right now, many Syrian women are degraded to prostitution and are being expolited as they find themselves as refugees of their nation's civil war.

Do you accept your wife or daughter to work as prostitute.

So are you with or against prostitution, regardless of religion perspective or which countries allowing it.

Unfortunately in such cases they often define it as something else, like temporary marriages (I believe it is called Nikah Mutah?) in an effort to pretend it does not occur; even if they use a different term, that does not change what it is a temporary contract that provides 'marriage rights' to the husband in exchange for money. I do not know how wide spread the practice is, however I believe it isn't accepted by Sunni's (not sure)?

Temporary marriage is misleading.

So we agree now that such things (prostitution & temporary marriage) is bad things.

I don't actually, I don't care if men or women decide to become prostitutes, it is quite a different thing however if they have no choice.

But that is not the point of this thread is it (I remember several threads about banning prostitution that such a discussion could very well be posted in, but it seems off topic here)? This thread seems to be for the purposes of discussing the EU proclamation about women's rights and treatment and how that may affect some muslim countries within the EU.

You know, the question keeps getting asked why a man should respect a woman if she becomes a prostitue, and it's being used as an argument against laws that protect women from violence. From getting raped by their own husbands, by getting acid thrown on their faces, and from being at risk of honor killings.

The argument goes like this, it seems:

"These laws are created to protect women from getting beaten and raped by not just strangers, but their own fathers, brothers, friends, and husbands."

"Why should a man respect a woman if she's nothing but a whore?"

.

.

.

Please explain how that's at all relevant to protecting a country's own citizens from being assaulted or murdered.

Prostitution is one point mentioned in the report.

Isn't it ?

The assumption seems to be that they are not citizens, they are not really people.

@FearGod
It certainly is. But it doesnt state anything about prohibition or legalisaiton, only their treatment IF it exists

Your source is about Human trafficking and not female so that is dishonest to twist the actual address to fit your purpose, sorry that is Off-Topic as we are discussing female issue.

InformedIgnorance

Actually forced prostitution (male or female) comprises a significant portion of the trafficking; thus it is relevant. Moreover the map itself is about female trafficking.
