How does the Quran promote tribalism? I'd like to make sure we're having a good faith discussion here. To that end, if you've been reading my posts at all, how do you think I'm going to answer that question? I ask, because it seems to me, I've already answered this question.

Islam teaches us that everyone came from Adam. Allah tells us in the Quran that we were made into nations and tribes so that we get to know one another. So I don't know why you think it promotes tribalism.

@Audie I'm aware that there's a lot of misinformation out there, and I do my best to verify as much as possible.

From what I've gathered, there is more reason to believe that there is a source to our existence compared to there not being one.

This particular verse accurately states my beliefs of the Creator. Why do you think this particular verse doesn't describe the concept of a Creator?

Anyone could do that, after all it was written a long long time ago,it fits your shoe but really means nothing,we are still stuck with no messenger being sent to "all nations",its not true.

In the Quran, HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of times, non-believers are criticized. And they are criticized extremely harshly. The Quran - through sheer repetition - emphasizes an "us verses them" worldview. There are Muslims, and then there are non-believers. And Muslims are instructed to treat non-believers with distrust and animosity.

False. We have to be just no matter what. Even if it is against ourselves. Clearly, you have no idea what you are talking about.

And if God wants to speak harshly towards those that don't believe in Him, then rightfully so. :)

Is it your assertion that there is no scientific basis for propaganda or brainwashing or bias?

I ask, because the book is an excellent example of using these techniques. What's important to understand about these techniques is that they operate at a subconscious level. So regardless of what your conscious mind is thinking, your subconscious brain is coming to different conclusions.
