If you can make things up (ie, express opinions),Perhaps you could make it clear that you're just making things up next time.
then fair is fair...I will (express opinions) too.

When I'm just making things up, I try and make that clear by saying something like "Just speculating here...". You should do the same.If you can make things up (ie, express opinions),

Why does the middle class need the rich taxed to support them? Are they on welfare, too? If they are, they're not middle class. But you have it xxx backwards, poverty is largely promoted by right wing policies, left wing policies involve taxing the rich to give more support to the poor and middle class, the left wing policies in California are driving out rich Republicans, not poor people.

Okay then.Perhaps you could find the post wherein
I was less than clear about musing.
BTW, I recommend less stridency about having The
Truth. There is room for reasonable people to disagree.
The only parts I've seen that look third world are either very small towns out in the middle of nowhere that are so small they are tiny by MidWest standards, and some parts of Oildale. The air quality is terrible in the Central Valley, besides so much of the valley is trashed it looks like a third world country. I can’t imagine wanting to move there.
Where? It is a third world. These people are just pushed to the side for the wealthy elites of whom this illustrious 'economy' benefits.
A problem in CA is that the mansions are other people's.The only parts I've seen that look third world are either very small towns out in the middle of nowhere that are so small they are tiny by MidWest standards, and some parts of Oildale.
Other than that we have hot springs, mansions, lots of event venues, some very nice country clubs, excellent dining options, and the cost of living is way cheaper than LA or the Bay Area.
But, yeah. Lots of my conversations with people who have been for awhile include how this chunk of town and all of this and that was nothing but orchards 20 years ago. The air quality, though still bad, has improved a good deal.
If I have to hire someone to clean my home it's too big. So no mansions for me anyways. (I'd rather have a Porsche I can only drive on racetracks).A problem in CA is that the mansions are other people's.
To aspire to owning one requires far more money than
necessary elsewhere. My compound would be impossible
for me to own in your state. And I'd never get enuf water
for my landscaping. CA is just not for me. But it suits you.
We are each where we belong.
No, maybe you need to re- read the article. It’s the leftist, woke policies that hinder educational and economic opportunities for minorities. So the title was false.
LOL....seriously dude? No, maybe you need to re- read the article. It’s the leftist, woke policies that hinder educational and economic opportunities for minorities.
“California’s failure to improve conditions for Latinos and blacks was evident even before the lockdowns and recent unrest. What the state’s minorities need is not less policing, or systematic looting of upscale neighborhoods, or steps to reimpose affirmative action, or kneeling politicians — they need policies that empower working-class citizens of all races to ascend into the middle class.”

I don’t believe so. The leftist policies have stifled educational and economic opportunities for minorities, destroying families, keeping them enslaved to government handouts and trapped in lousy schools and crime ridden neighborhoods. But you have it xxx backwards, poverty is largely promoted by right wing policies, left wing policies involve taxing the rich to give more support to the poor and middle class, the left wing policies in California are driving out rich Republicans, not poor people.
Wouldn't surprise me. And good riddance. It seems a more diverse society makes it easier to way more people than where it's predominately and heavily and mostly white bread Conservatives who would think it's "basically Mexico" here.I saw another article awhile ago where they made the case that many of the people leaving CA are actually white conservatives by showing that as more Californians moved to states like MT and ID, they become more conservative/Republican. IOW, it seems to be a "white flight" phenomenon.
Seriously...LOL....seriously dude?

Well I think the new $15/hr min wage in California is a big problem for poor people, I mean who would want earn that much for working at Mc Donalds when they can move to Alabama and get $7.25Which policies, specifically?
Oh, you mean what they say on Fox was wrong??? Oh, how could that be as Trump supports them, and we know how intelligent and truthful he is???Turns out it's still not true that people are fleeing California in droves.
