Nonsense

Perhaps Israel and Palestine are embarrassed over what the real problem is. Land. So maybe that’s why they hide behind terrorist groups and say the fighting is over religion. Just a hunch.

It’s almost as if this part of the world wants to have their little wars like the rest of the world has had. Or it’s almost as if they’re having this war because they see what the future holds, more future wars so it’s like they’re wise or something. it’s so stupid. Guess what? The lord has other plans.

Both should be embarrassed. And yes, it is that dirt (arm pit) that the divide is over. Both sides have committed horrible atrocities over time.

Technically, the religions are quite similar and keep the commandments as principle foundations. but no matter how many similarities that I find, i will get lambasted for even trying and as exposed on these 2 threads, both sides expect affirmations and condemnations of what the others/them have done.

Im rather sick of it.

When did Israel kidnap, rape, murder and parade around any Palestinian? When did Israel take civilian hostages and threaten to kill them on live TV?

I am not saying Israel has not done wrong things. But what Hamas is doing right now is evil and needs to be stopped.

We got all these highly intelligent people now that say it’s complicated. Maybe in a 300 years from now some highly intelligent people will come along and tell us exactly who is to blame like the historians do now huh?

Or maybe they’ll just keep continuing to say it was complicated huh?

Give me a break

I have no idea. Are you looking for reasons to hate israelis?
. But what Hamas is doing right now is evil and needs to be stopped.
So go there and stop them. Or are you expecting US (American's) to send money?

Why are your questions geared for affirmation? Do you need someone to help you understand what is right and wrong?

Do you know what I think is really going on. I think Israel is afraid to let down a guard because they would start losing their identity and become a melting pot like the United States. They would start breeding with Palestinians etc.

That would never happen anyway because the world is going to end within 50 years anyway. I really wish world leaders knew the truth about life. Ugh

What?? You missed my point altogether. My point is that Israelis have not done these things. The terrorist have.

I never said if we should or not. That is not what this is about.
Why are your questions geared for affirmation? Do you need someone to help you understand what is right and wrong?
What are you taking about? You engaged me in a discussion. My stance is the terrorists are evil for raping, murdering and parading around people and need to be stopped.

The UN representing the majority of governments on the earth, has condemned israel for over half a century but the US will not allow any enforcement.

The UN is in a tough spot. They dare not offend Islamic countries. (And we should stop and meditate on the idea that there even are "Islamic countries".) So to appease the Islamic world, they condemn Israel but never (or rarely), condemn a country like Iran. I'm not apologizing for the UN, but I think it's important to keep their actions - and inactions - in context.

Correct, yet irgun, did kidnap Sergeants during the mandate. Israel did not exist back then
I never said if we should or not. That is not what this is about.

So you do not think that Hamas should be stopped. IN contrast I think they should be and why I asked if you were going there to help.
What are you taking about?
I asked you, "Why are your questions geared for affirmation? Do you need someone to help you understand what is right and wrong?"
My stance is the terrorists are evil for raping, murdering and parading around people and need to be stopped.
But you do not want to help. All you are doing is writing in a sense of expecting Affirmations.

It is why I asked you: "Why are your questions geared for affirmation? Do you need someone to help you understand what is right and wrong?"

Are you so mad at life that you need others to help you understand right and wrong, while doing nothing to help stop the atrocities.

I mentioned earlier that the fools expect affirmations. Why are you continuing to do it? I am against all terrorist. Is that clear or do you want me to reply with an affirmation as you write the context over and over again?

I am aware of that
They dare not offend Islamic countries.
I've never heard that before
(And we should stop and meditate on the idea that there even are "Islamic countries".)
No country should be identified as a religious state. The very premise exhibits a predisposed bigotry. And just because one does represent a religious designation, does not mean another has the right. It is not right!
So to appease the Islamic world, they condemn Israel but never (or rarely), condemn a country like Iran.
That is the same methodology of expecting affirmations. Expecting a condemnation to address a specific action is just rude.
I'm not apologizing for the UN, but I think it's important to keep their actions - and inactions - in context.
The context is clear, the UN (majority on the earth) have condemned israel for the oppression (apartheid) within palestine/israel and the illegal occupation. Yet in your mention, it comes to the rational that the UN should condemn Iran before expecting israel to stop the illegal acts.

I dont get it, but I am finding out, that the norm is becoming a standard. Which is why the divide has lasted so long. Eventually it will lead to a genocide or nuclear outbreak to end the problem. It cannot last forever!

Well this is an aspect of reality we have to consider..

A couple of points here:

- Most of the UN's condemning of Israel originates from Islamic countries. These countries control a LOT of oil. It's not at all clear that the countries that "go along" with these Islamic-based condemnations would really condemn Israel if they we're addicted to ME oil.

- I'm struggling to put together those two snippets of your above, can you rephrase them? Thanks!

Do you have a voice at the UN? I have a few other items that could be of service.
A couple of points here:

- Most of the UN's condemning of Israel originates from Islamic countries.
I have heard that before but I have not read resolution that mentions who originated it. Most of them just mention the "proposal by the United Nations,". Unless you have something specific to substantiate that, it's hard to accept as true.
These countries control a LOT of oil. It's not at all clear that the countries that "go along" with these Islamic-based condemnations would really condemn Israel if they we're addicted to ME oil.
Just because a country is labeled as islamic, does not mean the condemnation is Islamic-based condemnation, as islamic is a religious designation. Technically you are lowering the credibility of the opinion by keeping a biased frame to the comment.
- I'm struggling to put together those two snippets of your above, can you rephrase them? Thanks!
I rewrote them twice, as I find myself falling in the error of claiming that YOU wrote the opinions, when you are just using the 'they' 'them' angle as if writing how you believe it to be true but just reflecting what YOU think 'they' are saying. A perfect example is the claim about the UN, as if the UN does not want to upset the islamic countries or that the UN created the resolutions because of what the islamic countries want. Which I have nothing in writing except opinions to substantiate that premise. The reality is, israel has committed many errors in palestine and the UN has condemned them. Not because the islamic countries say so but because what israel has done over the last half century has been found wrong by the majority on the earth voting to the effect. Not to mention that the ill regard is wrong and should never have occurred by civilized people.

How fair was it to place the immigrant Jews in Palestine after WWII?
  • In the census conducted in 1922the population of Palestine was 763,550 of which 89 percent were Arabs and 11 percent Jews. By the end of 1947 the Jewish share of the population had risen to 31 percent.
