Starry, besides it's cuteness t also has the sad message of spirituality as commodity ... some folks are just like that guy ... the do sadhana for two weeks, and there's no progress so they quit.

Very true. From personal experience there was a young woman who came to Krishna meditation and puja for a few weeks, and then just stopped coming. I haven't seen her in over a year.

What's Krishna meditation?

Every Friday, my temple has a half hour meditation session. With contemplation of Krishna and chanting "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" as the center of the meditation. Along with singing Bhajans and reading from scriptures.

Then there are the types who say:
"I´ve been meditating for a whole month, it is so powerful I can see my spirit guides and I feel the universe."

Me: "Really?"

Someone "Yes it´s so easy, you just sit down, close your eyes and empty your mind"

Oh well. I think we were all there once. To be honest, steady sadhana (like 95% of the time) has only been possible for me since I retired.

Indeed, there is a reason why the Yamas and Niyamas are the first two limbs of yoga. One must implement these ethics and virtues above all else in order to progress spiritually. Living by and ingraining nonviolence, truthfulness, moderation, etc. into one's consciousness comes before any great spiritual progression because they naturally lead to it. And of course, worship of the Gods is one of the Niyamas. But so many people just gloss over or completely ignore these foundations and just think they can skip to the end - samadhi.

The desire for instant gratification is one of the greatest follies of our age.

And the very first yama is ahimsa. Yet we still discuss whether or not to eat the flesh of another creature. :)

Thank you, that is beautiful!

(how do you post an image, I don´t know it either)

Maya

If the image is available from a URL you can click on the 4th icon from the right on the second row of the reply screen. If you hover your mouse over it, it says "Insert Image" and you can paste the URL in there, and the image will show up in your post.

You can also attach a picture to your post by clicking on the little paperclip icon and uploading it from your computer. I actually just found out about this option :)

It's to the right of the smiley icon above the text box on the reply screen...at least I think it's a paper clip lol. But if you hover your mouse over it, it says "Attachments".

An easier way that I just found is to scroll down on the reply screen to "Additional Options" and click on "Manage Attachments". From there you can upload a picture from your computer

So how do you shrink images?

and please please , ...how to enlarge the small ones would be nice too :)

I don't know how to control the size of images. Perhaps somebody more tech-savvy can show us :)
