It is a complete shame that some can't see what's happening with this obvious global warming and then even go so far as to deny what the research is clearly showing us. Ask anyone who has visited the Arctic and/or Antarctica and hear or read what they say about what they are seeing. I have a friend who works 6-9 months per year in the latter, and he gets so angry with these climate-change deniers.

BTW, he's a Republican.

And what was the name of that horrid liberal that first brought up climate change in England? Some sort of pastor or something about being factored by only one and itself. Any help out there?

No, it seriously is not. You are making the error of reinterpreting it after the fact. All sorts of religions do the same thing. It is not very impressive at all. This is also why there have always been predictions that the end is near ever since the birth of Christianity with some attaching dates to the event. When it comes to the end times the Bible is notoriously unreliable since you have to count all of the failed predictions as well.
People have been making predictions concerning the end times since the birth of Christianity; you’re right. That’s because really since the time of Jesus Christ we have been in the last days, but the the end of the church age and the final days of history could not actually occur until the Jews were re-gathered back to the land and the nation of Israel established again as a nation. That has happened.

Sorry, but you don't get to claim that. In regards to the end days the correctness of the Bible is an extreme failure. Most Christians have to reinterpret Jesus's own prophecy about coming back while at least some of the disciples were still alive. You probably do it without realizing it.

It's amazing the gullibility of people to react in extreme ways, even with multiple failed predictions that failed time over and time over again.

It's certainly political in nature and the apocalyptic approach is always popular with the illustrious soothsayers.
Claim: Climate Change science has made multiple failed predictions.
Fact: Almost all predictions of climate change science has come true including the most critical, the rate of growth of global mean temperature as shown here. The models developed till 2000 has been able to very accurately predict the observed temperature trends till 2020.

Don't tell them the truth!! The strategy is to claim that the experts are wrong no matter what.

Last year it was record heat where I live. This year it is a bit cooler than normal so we can claim "Global warming is a hoax" until it gets hot again.

There has recently been an enormous heatwave where I live, which got me thinking...

Is there such a thing as global warming?

And if so, is it due to humans?

I don't know any of the facts and if I did I wouldn't know how to interpret them

Question: What should I believe, if I want to be right?

I have made a poll, but if you vote in it please explain how you voted!

And if you can, please cite an authoritative source or sources
Just so that everyone knows, the increasingly frequent occurrence of heatwave and drought conditions in Europe was predicted and it was shown that a 7 fold increase in frequency and intensity of such droughts and heatwaves in central Europe is predicted in a 4-6 C temperature increase (business as usual) condition by 2100.
Increased future occurrences of the exceptional 2018–2019 Central European drought under global warming | Scientific Reports

Abstract:-
Since the spring 2018, a large part of Europe has been in the midst of a record-setting drought. Using long-term observations, we demonstrate that the occurrence of the 2018–2019 (consecutive) summer drought is unprecedented in the last 250 years, and its combined impact on the growing season vegetation activities is stronger compared to the 2003 European drought. Using a suite of climate model simulation outputs, we underpin the role of anthropogenic warming on exacerbating the future risk of such a consecutive drought event. Under the highest Representative Concentration Pathway, (RCP 8.5), we notice a seven-fold increase in the occurrence of the consecutive droughts, with additional 40 million ha of cultivated areas being affected by such droughts, during the second half of the twenty-first century. The occurrence is significantly reduced under low and medium scenarios (RCP 2.6 and RCP 4.5), suggesting that an effective mitigation strategy could aid in reducing the risk of future consecutive droughts.

Better for humanity to die off than admit a mistake.

And I guess you haven't realized that would terminate pregnancies. Oops. So much for your "pro-life" label.

Jesus said at the end of Matthew 16

...”Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

And just a few days later Peter, James, and John did see the glorified Jesus in His kingdom, along with Moses and Elijah.

...Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. 7 But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” 8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
Matthew 17:1-8

There is no misinterpretation, no failed prophecy.

Sorry but that is a clear reinterpretation. It is generally acknowledged as one of the most troubling passages of scripture in the Bible for Christians. It even was the seed for the myth of the Wandering Jew.

Here is a simple test to see if you can approach the Bible rationally. Do you understand the the Noah's Ark story is just a myth? It never happened.
