We installed violent dictators in both Iran and Iraq that abused and murdered their own people, simply because they agreed not to disrupt the flow of oil to the west. That's just for starters. We gave poison weapons to one of those dictators and helped him use them against the other nation to prolong a war between them, indefinitely, causing the horrible deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iranians. Then we invaded and killed that dictator (Iraq) for no apparent reason because we thought he still had some of those poison weapons (that we gave him) resulting in the deaths of millions of Iraqis and the destrunction of the whole country.

You should learn some Middle Eastern history.

These things Israel have done (right or wrong) were in response to attacks. Turning off water was under a condition of getting back the hostage's that were taken. Israel does not govern Gaza, does not want to. You need a peace partner to broker peace, Israel does not have a peace partner. Hamas wants Israel not to exist and have shown they do not want peace. When did Israel deliberately kill babies, rape Palestinians or took Palestinians hostage or attacked Gaza unprovoked?

I have not seen these interviews.

Do you really think Hamas cares about Palestinians. They will have food and water no matter what. Do you really think the people will rise up and attack Hamas - unarmed civilians against those with guns. That's hardly credible. What is happening is that there is more and more violence in the West Bank and elsewhere in response including attacks on Jews so the cycle of violence continues to rage like a forest fire.

And what was the attacks on Israel in response too? Or do you believe it was just baseless hatred?

If Israel was interested in a peace partner they wouldn't have intentionally destroyed secular movements in Gaza while leaving the extremists to fester. And if they are interested in peace of any kind what has stopped them from making peace with the east bank?

Someone here was talking about how the United States hand-picked dictators in the Middle East for oil interests. Maybe the reasons go a little deeper. Maybe some countries are enlightened and realized that the worlds going to end within 50 years anyway so they mind as well just share the oil. Maybe it’s a struggle between these enlightened nations and the nations that foolishly think they’re going to stretch the oil out over four or five centuries. Idk just spitballin
