How can they know about God when God hides himself from the world. He has never shown his presence. Has he come to stop Corona virus? Did he come to help the people of Aceh in earthquakes or tsunamis? Did he appear in Japan to stop American atomic bombing? Did he come to Syria and Iraq to stop atrocities on women by followers of Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi? Do you mean that all who worship God/Allah are uneducated? You say strange things. Is it because of your faith?

Well brother a friend in Israel who follow that cult offered me the books and made me promise to read them and give him my opinion, and as mentioned previously, the Baha‘i follow the teaching of Mirza Husayn Ali Nuri (1817-1892) whose title is Baha’ullah which mean in Arabic (‘The Splendor of God’). As opposed to Muslims who believe Prophet Muhammad to be God’s last prophet to humanity, Baha’ullah believed himself to be the prophet foretold by Sayid Ali Muhammad Shirazi, the founder of the Babi movement. Baha’ullah contradicted the Muslim belief that Abraham, Moses, and Jesus were prophets and not divine. He taught, instead, that God had become manifest in many different forms such as Abraham, Moses, Zoroaster, the Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, the ‘Bab’ and Baha’ullah himself. Baha’ullah is not, however, the final and definitive manifestation of God. Other prophets will come, but not for at least 1000 years.

This belief opposes the most fundamental aspect of Islam, which is the distinction made between the creation and the Creator. Islam firmly believes that God is separate and distinct from His creation, and that He never did or will become human. The prophets He sent were fully human, but chosen to deliver His message to humanity. Worship is to be rendered to God only, and not to any created being. Nest in importance to this belief is the belief is that Muhammad was the last and final prophet sent to all of humanity, and the message of Islam is the final message of God, and none other will come until the Day of Judgment. These two principles form the basis and most fundamental principle of Islamic faith, the first pillar of Islam, one clearly contradicted in Baha’i faith.

There are no initiation rites, priesthood or sacraments in the Baha’i religion. However, Baha’is do have certain duties, and are obliged to pray every day (although their prayer is different from that practiced by Muslims); they are also obliged to meet on the first day of each Baha’i month for celebration; to fast from dawn to sunset during the month of ‘Ala (while Muslims fast in Ramadan); to avoid drugs or alcohol; to avoid membership of political parties; and to observe particular holy days such as the birth of Baha’ullah and the martyrdom of the ‘Bab’. Emphasis is placed in their propagation on the unity of humanity and the absolute equality of men and women, and the Baha’is see themselves as working towards the establishment of a world government which will eradicate extremes of wealth and poverty.

Baha’i speakers focus heavily on these principles considering that these are the best that can be found in any religion. Seven out of the twelve Principles revolve around Unity. You have :

Ironically, among the Baha’is themselves there are at least two major divisions at loggerheads with each other - the 3rd generation Baha’i and the Orthodox Baha’i. Lastly, the Baha’is have yet to officially announce the alphabet of the new language they have invented for every person in the world.

There are various intolerant ideas preached by the Baha’is found in the Babi cult before them which have no basis in Islam:

“Babis! God has made war obligatory upon you. Capture cities and people for Babism.” you have that in Bayan chapter 1

“Do not let those who do not believe in the Bayan remain on the earth.” Bayan chapter 1

“Snatch the wealth of those who do not believe in the Bayan.” Bayan Arabic chapter 5

“Rejecters of Bab! Even if you take a bath 1000 times in a day, you shall remain unclean.” Bayan chapter 2

“Whatever belongings of the non-Babis come into possession of the Babis they become clean.” Bayan chapter 4

You know the good thing is when you study other religion and compare them to the religion of God, you can notice the big gap. The Baha’is differ from Muslims in the most fundamental Islamic beliefs and practices. Their leaders have made extraordinary claims to divinity similar to other religious cults. Although they seem to preach peace and unity, their history has been marred by violence. Their history and original teachings also contradict their averred concept of world peace and gender equality.

I understand what you are saying about omnipresence and dependence on God, but God being everywhere is just a bit difficult to grasp with my finite mind.

Why? Where do you think God is? The idea in its basest form can be understood as the presence of air here and where you are. In reality, there is only experience, it is encompassed within Allah who is Like Nothing and Nowhere, there is no real space or space outside of Allah, there is only Allah who is non-dimensional, spaceless, like nothing, and "stuff" which is manifested within and dependent on Allah, but for an easier grasp, the illusory mass presence of Air and space for movement for example are two things you are used to being all around.

Interestingly from section 165 of the Gleanings from the writings of Baha'u'llah, states:

"Know thou that every hearing ear, if kept pure and undefiled, must, at all times and from every direction, hearken to the voice that uttereth these holy words: "Verily, we are God's, and to Him shall we return." (Qur'an) The mysteries of man's physical death and of his return have not been divulged, and still remain unread. By the righteousness of God! Were they to be revealed, they would evoke such fear and sorrow that some would perish, while others would be so filled with gladness as to wish for death, and beseech, with unceasing longing, the one true God -- exalted be His glory -- to hasten their end."

Thanks, that is one of my favorite oft cited passages when I am discussing the afterlife... It certainly does say a lot in a few short sentences. Related to that passage, we have this letter from the Guardian.

"Bahá'u'lláh says that were we to have the proper vision to see the blessings of the other world we would not bear to endure one more hour of existence upon the earth. The reason why we are deprived of that vision is because otherwise no one would care to remain and the whole fabric of society will be destroyed."

I have followed the waters of Baha'u'llah to discover his source:

Well Trailblazer is free to follow any belief, it`s a choice but what I am saying is the Bahai Faith often projects itself to Muslims as a sect of Islam. They do this primarily by taking advantage of the fact that the origins of the Faith lie in Iran and that its founders have Muslim sounding names. The colonial-backed group twists information to deviate Muslims on the issue of finality of the prophet hood of Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him.
The study of the origin of any religion is important to any seeker of the truth for its helps us to establish veracity of its claims and that of its founders. And I did my homework to find out that the history of the Bahai Faith and that of its leaders is laced with deception, lies and dishonesty. It is a dark history that the Bahais are ashamed of and hence wish to hide from it or turn their face the other way when one reminds them of it.
And also I want everyone to keep in mind that the Bahai Faith has absolutely nothing to do with Islam. It is not a sect of Islam. In fact, it is condemned by all sects of Islam due to their disbelief on the issue of the finality of the prophet hood of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him.

You can read about his biography, the Bab acquires knowledge from worldly teachers At the age of seven the Bab was sent to study under Shaikh Abid, a scholar of the Shaikhiya sect. It is here that he imbibed the ideas of the Shaikhiya sect. Under the guidance of the Shaikh, he studied Persian, calligraphy, and some elementary Arabic grammar.

The Bab himself admitted that he obtained education from worldly teachers. When his heretic ideas created discord in Iran, the Crown Prince summoned him to an assembly of religious scholars. The scholars asked Bab about some basic rules of Arabic grammar, to which he replied, "I had learnt them when I was young, but now I have completely forgotten them." If you want to look into it you can refer to Traveler's Narrative, E. G. Browe, page 278-290, examination of the Bab, I got the book here.

The Bab was also a self-confessed disciple of Syed Kazim Rashti. The Bab himself declared, "I am one of the disciples of Sayyed-e-Muqaddas (Sayyed Kazim Rashti)." here again I am not making things up you can refer to Hadyatul Mahdiyyah Page 212.

The above references are sufficient to prove that the Bab was, like any of us, in need of worldly education and teachers, and he did gain knowledge from worldly teachers like Shaikh Abid, Mohammed and Syed Kazim Rashti.

However the Bahai Faith completely discounts these facts and claims otherwise. Abbas Effendi, the son of Bahaullah, and the first leader of the Bahais utters a blatant lie on page 8 of his book 'Khutubat-e-Buzurg'. He writes, "It is incumbent on every prophet that he gains knowledge from Allah alone and not from any human being and such is the practice of all prophets like Prophet Ibrahim, Hazrat Mohammed, Hazrat Bab and Bahaullah. All of them did not study in any school because the one who owes his knowledge to human schools cannot be a divine representative."

The above statement of Abbas Effendi is simply unacceptable. We can agree that all leaders who were divinely inspired did not seek knowledge from worldly teachers. However, we all must also agree that the Bab does not fall into this special category. Every Bahai worth his salt can wish fervently that Bab was a divine leader, but the fact is that he was not. The Bab, by virtue of his worldly schooling does not fulfill the basic criteria of being a divine leader - he was taught by men of this world.

I also take severe objection to the above statement for not only does Abbas Effendi deny the fact that Bab studied under various teachers, he has gone further and has put at par Bab and Bahaullah with the Holy Prophet peace be upon him, and the other mighty prophets of Allah. There is no comparison between the Holy Prophet of Islam peace be upon him and the Bab or Bahaullah.

The above statement of Abbas Effendi highlights another important aspect of the Bahai Faith. Here he has denied the finality of prophethood of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him a fundamental belief of all Muslims. Bahais decry the finality of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him.

The Bab was afflicted with a mental disorder, another feature about the Bab is that during his youth he used to stand on the roof of his house directly under the sun. He did this during the hot summer days of Iran. Standing under the sun, he used to make signs to the sun all day long through the summer. So much so that people thought he was a star worshipper. So here again, I am not inventing stories because this strange practice finds mention on page 66 of the book 'Talkheese Nabil' by Ishraaq Khaavri and "Hashte Bahist" by Mirza Aga Khan Kirmani. This habit of standing under the hot sun had a severe impact on the mental faculty of the Bab from which he never recovered completely. It was for the treatment of this disorder that Bab was sent to Kerbala in Iraq where he met Syed Kazim Rashti and studied under him.

I mean I can keep going and talk about the violence history of the babis or the attempt of the Russian to save the bab, but I am not going to bother you with long reading.

But to answer your question clearly the bahai movement are following a misguided cult based on lies.

OK, do your research, but cannot put your finger on it. He used the words craftily. He said he was the sender of prophets. If you put your finger there, he and his apologists will say that it was not about himself but about Allah. While he was in Iran, he had to be careful with his words.

I wish I had that kind of time, but I don't.
I read what is posted to me but I do not believe everything I read. I would have to verify it for myself but I do not have that kind of time.

There are many so-called sources of information about the Baha'i Faith and particularly the history of the Founders, but suffice to say not all of them are reliable. Moreover there is much calumny on the internet and they count of people who do not know much about the Baha'i Faith to believe their calumny.

If you are a logical person, you should ask yourself why Jews, Christians and Muslims hurl calumnies at the Bab and Baha'u'llah, as if they are false prophets they would pose no threat. Do you know anything about psychology? I do, as I have an advanced degree in it. I know more about psychology than I know about religion, so I have some insight into why people behave as they do, but of course only God really knows anyone.

Whatever Muslims believe they will be 'getting' in the afterlife is just a fantasy. Baha'u'llah did not make any promises because He did not want is to know how glorious the afterlife would be and He also knew it could not be explained in words since it is so different from this life.

“The world beyond is as different from this world as this world is different from that of the child while still in the womb of its mother. When the soul attaineth the Presence of God, it will assume the form that best befitteth its immortality and is worthy of its celestial habitation.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 157

Baha'u'llah did tell us we would,enter the Crimson Ark, but there is no way we can understand what that is till we get there.

There is no point trying to convince atheists that there is an afterlife, they will have the evidence when they die.

And you and your Bahaollah have evidence since you have returned from death! Don't take atheists to be fools to believe in what garbage these prophets / sons / messengers / manifestations / mahdis talk or write without showing an iota of evidence.
