Prospective President Kamala Harris

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Except when big government is what you want, like in the case of abortion.
If you want to start a thread on abortion be my guest but I am not going to derail this one with a debate on abortion (and I am not asking for any subsidies on abortions).

I don't believe it's a misrepresentation. It's a difference in terminology.
Whether or not you believe it, it is a misinterpretation, and an intentional one. You're arguing through emotion. If you say "killing babies", it just sounds bad, and you think it makes your case for you. When you use accurate terminology, you have to actually provide a reasoned case.

The fact that you do that and refuse to acknowledge the nuance and the fact that a fetus is significantly different from an actual born baby is problematic. This only makes the whole conversation harder.

The fact is a fetus inside a woman is a very different thing from a baby that's been born. There's a reason the cutoff in Roe v. Wade was based on viability. Up until a certain point, the fetus can't survive outside the mother, even with medical intervention. Considering a fetus a legal person with all the same rights creates so many problems. Whether or not you fall on the side of choice or anti-choice, that has to be acknowledged.

Maybe, if you don't plan to defend your comments about it, don't make the comments in the first place. You brought this up.

I mean, I guess. I don't find it particularly interesting, but yes, there is a significant difference between when it's inside the mother and when it's outside.

I take this to mean that there are no laws allowing women to kill babies, and you were inaccurately referring to abortion being legal. Is that right, or are you still going to provide those examples of places where women can legally kill babies?
You know what I mean across the board.

Among all sorts of things but you focused on this one thing.

Yes, birth is a fascinating process.

Did you have a point? If so, what is your point?
I have many points but I don't want to derail the thread so I won't. Anyway, I will be writing in a name rather than voting for either Trump or Harris.

It was a major testament on just how people were completely sick and tired of Democrat rule.
Well, you're right about that. Thank goodness for you because this weird site depresses me sometimes. Then I realize that I don't live surrounded by idiots.

I tried multiple times to clearly note that Democrats created their own monster, and that monster was Trump.

They are once again by their sheer incompetence and disregard, making the monster rise again like Godzilla coming out of the ocean.

She didn't become VP in 2016. Simple error.

However her gender and race has been tagged on since at least 2016

"she defeated Loretta Sanchez in the 2016 Senate election to become the second African-American woman and the first South Asian American to serve in the U.S. Senate."

Excuse my mirth, but that sounds so silly. It's like saying 'In the race I just ran I came both first and second".

(Yes I know what it means).

Depends if Trump loses this year.
You might not be aware, but many loathed Republican
rule too under Trump, eg, massive spending to pay
workers to not work, over-turning abortion rights,
failure to secure borders, & finally....the failed coup.

I'm sick of both parties....Genocide Joe, Trump the treasonous
thieving rapist, & Vance the authoritarian fundie nutjob (the
man who strikes fear in the hearts of sofas everywhere).
So who are you voting for? Come on, spill the beans. I have.
