Putin apologists.

Polarization is always wrong.

Being against the war does not mean siding with a globalist servant of Soros' that is totally unfit to be a politician. And who has showed to be a warmonger because he demands us Europeans to send our men to fight in a stupid war. In his dreams
That is what the demon Soros wants. A war to destabilize Europe.
Yet you are repeating polarizing disinformation. Can't have it both ways.

Okay, so what in your opinion should he be doing?
Boots on the ground and push the Russians out with the blessings of the Ukraine and congress.

I'd still call Biden a hypocrite in light of Afghanistan, but going in would still be in the best interest of the free world or what's left of it.

That is what EVERYONE is working to avoid. That will only work towards Putin's advantage. And could put the whole planet in jeopardy.

Could you be suggesting this as a way to sabotage Biden? He knows better.

If Putin gets Ukraine, then it will embolden just about every enemy we have which will make things even worse and more dangerous than ever.

But if people just want to hand over Ukraine to Putin due to non intervention, then I suppose it becomes a problem for future generations to contend with from an even stronger and brazen enemy.

A question.
What does the US have to do with all this?
What do you mean by "emboldening your enemies"?

Look how dangerous China has become already.

Russia obviously wants to do the same since the fall of the USSR. Get stronger and stronger.

Build up power and then one day when that power is adequate enough, it will be used at some point.

Would you like to see a toppled USA?

Replaced by China or the USSR as the world's sole authority?

I am not understanding the casual nexus.
If Russia gets wealthier...what does this have to do with the United States?

I still think that would be a huge mistake, but how would it make him a hypocrite? By the way, Biden followed Trump's plan.

I have no problem with Russia getting wealthier. But they are not able to do so by attacking other countries. If what they are doing is okay there is plenty of almost totally empty land due north of us.

Right. Only about 3% of oil is imported to the USA, and it is mostly Hawaii and the West coast. Hawaii has already banned this oil being delivered. But as other nations ban Russian oil the global demand will rise and the price will go up, as we are seeing. Even if the USA drilled and drilled the global demand would drive prices higher. That's just the way it goes due to Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
And of course the right wing people that do not understand economics will blame Biden again. Even though they cannot show any policies of Biden's that caused the price increase of oil. That was OPEC's doing. They got hammered hard when Covid19 caused demand to drop immensely for a while. They cut production and are not ready to fully open the taps yet. Of course they are in a bad position no matter what they do for the long term. If they keep more oil in the ground it will spur even further the development of alternate sources of energy. And wind is definitely already cheaper than oil and I do not think that solar is too far behind. It is building the infrastructure that will take some time. If the cut their prices too low then they will not make as much before the inevitable end of oil as a major fuel.

I am not understanding the intransigence of the Western world.
The most urgent thing is to end the war...through a compromise.
Then, once the war is finished, the West imposes its terms for a lasting peace.

Putin is the only stumbling block right now. The people of Ukraine do not want him there. That is obvious. He should have learned his Afghanistan lesson.

Putin won't compromise. He's threatened everyone in sight including nuclear war and said that either Ukraine surrenders or Russia would make Ukraine disappear as a n ation.
