So you don't think you've benefited from the privilege of belonging to the least discriminated against segment of our society, white, heterosexual, Christian, male?
Seems to me that the hits he is counting this go round are the times he has been discriminated against.....

Let me get this. You're worried that if gay people are allowed to marry each other this will somehow lead to you being discriminated against? Is that really and truly your concern? Cuz, y'know, we're being discriminated against right now, but I guess that doesn't bother you.

In general, equality benefits everyone. Ending discrimination is good for everyone, because then we can all benefit from the contributions of everyone. vz. our current President.

So you don't think you've benefited from the privilege of belonging to the least discriminated against segment of our society, white, heterosexual, Christian, male?

What I am saying is what is seen is much more than marriage.

I am saying no protected classes! Then we can talk marriage. You already saw the EEOC stance on protected class, do notice it can be preferred class!

Why do so many people make such a big deal out of the "sin" of homosexuality, yet nobody seems to give a rat's @@@ about working on the sabbath? Since the latter is forbidden right in the ten commandments, you'd think it would be a bigger deal. Hmm, seems to me people are picking on certain folks based on their own personal desires and masking it as the will of god.

I'm against homosexuals working on the Sabbath.

Did you know that they are a lot of famous homosexuals in LDS History? For example, a councelor ot Joseph Smith (John C. Bennett, he was bisexual), Louise felt & May anderson (Primary leaders and a couple for more than 40 years, lesbians), Evan Stephans (Director of the Tabernacle Choir, gay), Patriarch Joseph F. Smith (in 1950's he was cast out of his service because he has several relationships to men as a married man).
Brigham Morris Young, Grandson of Brigham Young, gay and he like it to dressed himself as Madam Pattirini.
And this are only a view I mentioned here.
Do you know that guy who play uncle Arthur in "bewitched"? He was LDS and gay, and was cast out at the Donny & marie Osmond Show cause he was gay.
So many gay, lesbian and transgendered Mormons attempted suicides because this church hade them. This violence against queer folks from the LDS side has to be stopped (ans also from all other sides)!!!

now this IS interesting stuff....

Interesting how you continue to dish out this vile steaming pile of bull **** yet have not been able to post in this thread:

It is interesting, how you think and spew filth in your attacks against what has been put forth by me very directly, without foul language, and actually very compationately. Marriage is about children. Homosexuality is about anything but. And when this shield is held up, not you or anyone else can deny that reality.

Honestly, there are some people who marry and never have children, but it would seem that they are in the minorty. Most at least want children. They want a boy like the father ---- Mommy's little man. They dream of daddy's little girl who resembles the mother.

Any filth you see with what I have said is entirely in your head.

And my opinion is that for all the complex systems we see around us in life; from blood clotting, the reproductive systems including opposite sexes, the information contained in DNA, cellular complexity, vision, our sense of balance, to the marvel of the human brain with it's automatic functions, to have come about by random/unguided mutations is highly unlikely and not logial. But that is just my opinion and off topic!

So it's impossible for God to have developed life in such a way that it could evolve into the things we see today? God could not have done this? Dang. It's a shame that your experiences in this life have caused you to be closed minded and led you to believe that it's somehow God's Way vs Evolution. =\

And they PAY to try and keep homosexual couples from receiving the same rights as heterosexual ones. I've never heard of Christians coughing up dough for political rallies and movements to make it illegal for people to pick up sticks on the Sabbath. That's what I think is crazy, is that not only do they not agree with gay marriage, they pay lots of money to keep it down.

Silly me, there I was thinking marriage was about love....

What do you mean by "more than marriage?" Because two people who love each other have every right to get married despite their sexual orientation.

Not really. They have the right to pretend at anything they wish. However, sex was designed for procreation. Marriage is about family, and not about one's preoccupations. Love needs no sex. Sex needs no love. I certainly have a GOD given right to completely ignore another's fetishes. Marriage does not deserve to be reduced to some badge of sexual pandering.
