I have always rationalized that sexual people liked virgins since it was like the equivalent of purchasing a new car instead of a used one.

Not sure if this is applicable in modern day society because used or not I sure ain't touching it

Yeah, but I'm not sure the advantage of being of a virgin. I don't understand the function of enticing people to "drive you" (like a car analogy) when the explicit aim is not to be driven.

Out of curiosity, do you have a limit on the numbers before you that you'd find acceptable, assuming no (detected) diseases? If so, why?

I don't personally... but I might expect that others have another sort of limit, a sort of threshold that must be crossed.

Like I said, they can be taught. A great pianist doesn't need 100 teachers to know how to play beautiful music, they only need one master. And even a master need not anyone but himself to truly learn.

Find another kind of phrase to express your disapproval!

It's fine for a person to be a virgin in that's what they choose, but basing a person's value on whether they're a virgin is indeed messed up.

If the woman I fall in love with and want to marry happens to be a virgin, then sure. As a romantic I can see some romance and niceness in both of us figuring it out together (though the fact that it wouldnt be that reciprocal as I am not a virgin anymore would make it less poetic ) but there is something interesting about being with a woman that has a better idea of what she wants and wants me on that equation after already knowing it. I find it sexy and exciting that she would be interested in me finding out and in teaching me and I just love in general the idea of us both knowing ourselves sexually, but discovering the other and showing ourselves to the other at the same time. I love the idea of discovering who she is sexually as I discover who she is spiritually and emotionally. There is something about it that I find more romantic.

I am of the kind that would love to have sex on the first date, or even better, before even starting the romantic courtship.

For starters, I find the idea of a romantical relationship without sex to be kinda painful. Physical affection is important to me, as well as nakedness in all it's aspects (emotional, spiritual, mental, physical, aspirational, etc)

In a way, I need my partner to feel like my wife BEFORE I pop the question. I aint gambling with it.

To run with this analogy, and speaking as someone who plays classical puano decently well, anyone who thinks they can become a master pianist without ever being taught by someone else has either never plsyed the piano or has an over-inflated opinion of his own abilities.

I see nothing wrong with wanting your wife to be virgin even if you are not. Each will have their check lists.

As long as you dont bash non virgins or pretend they are inferior in some way or something. A lot of men would prefer them non virgin. Whether or not that is a majority I would assume will change dpeneding on specific demographics.

How do you know she is going to be good at sex if you haven't had sex with her?

A whole lot of things can go wrong (and do) in any aspect of the relationship and sex is no exception to this.

Most Virgins are Ferraris from what I've seen.

Usually only those who already agree believe me on this...but get this....virgins tend to be....more physically attractive (from what I've seen, and without makeup that is).

Then you either need to get out more or try keeping your eyes open. this is easily in the top ten stupidest comments I've read on this forum.
