Science vs Faith

Ahem....clever boy..."water" in this context is not referring to actual water...but is a metaphor representing the subject of a transcendent reality. That you do not believe there is anything other than physical reality is fine....I do not expect that you can think outside of this "circle"....but don't blame me for your limited perspective....or curse the view that there is more to reality than the mere physical...
you do not seem to be as clever you want everyone to think you are.

Better luck next time.

And thank you for so effectively proving my point about you dictating to others what they think and believe.
You shoot yourself in the foot all the while thinking you are making some sort of point.
Sad really.

Comical as hell though.

Are you saying that you can think outside the circle of your belief?

I have one.....
there are 7bilion copies of a learning device all over this earth
each one will be unique....some more than others

the design gives the intent

and why believe?...it all crumbles to dust

no one survives the last breath?
not one chance in billions?
If the design gives the intent, then we're much less important than the beetles, which make up about 25% of the life on this planet.

BTW: why assume God's purpose has anything to do with life when virtually all of the universe is fatal to life?
The universe is alive....the only reason the cells in the human body are alive is because human body is alive...the only reason humans are alive is because the planet is alive...it is all a matter of proportion.... Who is to say that atoms are not alive...the quantum zpe energy sustains them...and the sub-atomic particles...the cycles of creation and death of forms are eternal...but that which vivifies the forms is the universal life force itself....some call spirit...

Not really talking about what I'm talking about, but thanks for trying.

You might as well say that electricity is "alive".

Well a life force at least...all life forms have an electrical aspect....from the micro to the macro...

Life involves electro-chemical processes, yes. But that doesn't mean electro-chemical processes are themselves alive.

Well it is hard to imagine a life force not being alive....besides..
