Students Are Pushing Back Against Gender Ideology In Their Schools

That is nonsense. My definition aligns with that of the NIH. Self serving definitions from the "trans industry" are piffle.

"Sex

Sex is a multidimensional biological construct based on anatomy, physiology, genetics, and hormones. (These components are sometimes referred to together as “sex traits.”)[2] All animals (including humans) have a sex. As is common across health research communities, NIH usually categorizes sex as male or female, although variations do occur. These variations are called differences in sex development (DSD) or intersex conditions.[3] ..."

What's your take on this(see bold) from the conclusions?

Conclusions

"The literature on transgender people during the last decade provides a framework for the associations and comorbidities associated with transgender or GD. The research draws links between transgender people and changes in prenatal neuroanatomy. There is an association with psychiatric disorders, schizophrenia, and ASD. Transsexualism is linked to childhood maltreatment and adversities. Evidence also leads some to speculate that there are genetic predispositions. Furthermore, a working hypothesis exists with regards to possible association of endocrine disrupting chemicals and transgender identity or other gender-related issues. The evidence until today shows that transsexualism has a complex biopsychosocial etiology. There is a need for additional research to explore the myths and mysteries behind transgender identity to improve the understanding among clinicians, social activists and policy makers leading to better transgender health."

Well, what made you stop reading on?

I foresee this trend growing larger.

"Students at a Massachusetts middle school showed their opposition to Pride month by chanting, “USA Are My Pronouns,” through the school halls and wore red, white, and blue clothing and face paint."......

"The growing trend goes back as far as 2021, when a 15-year-old went viral for a speech ripping into his school board for critical race theory-infused teachings in their curriculum.".....

"High school students in Ottawa, Canada, are also staging a walkout to protest what they saw as inappropriate content in their curriculums"....

I've been trying to communicate with youngsters in my personal life that they should avoid boxing themselves in with labels and titles. Tribalism divides us and prevents us from proactive and civil communication. United we stand, divided we fall.

Honestly, I feel the same empathy towards my Russian and Chinese brothers and sisters. People are people, be humane to humanity.
Unfortunately, all of our governments are shysters and cannot seem to afford any trust to the other, let alone get along. When one gives another an inch, a mile is taken.

Oh, you mean it's more complicated than just giving the definition of "chromosome?"
You don't say! ;) :D

Social constructed things aren't accepted by everyone. Some become targets. Religion is a good example of that.

Well, yes. The joke is that the site for that as what sex is, uses that word:

"Understanding sex and gender is critical to understanding human health and disease. Although “sex” is often incorrectly thought to have the same meaning as “gender,” the terms describe different but connected constructs. ..."

NS!! My question to the other poster was about what I highlighted.

Bty,,,, "the evidence until today shows"

What was it before today?

That it was not complex, but that they were single factor crazy. That is the short version of it.
Now real life calls, but the sociological history of what crazy is, is not just objective science and nothing else.

Not entirely but, yes, it is a part of it. You really think it isn't?

Not really. I think the two are connected because some people suffer from gender dysphoria at various levels. Many do not have surgery. For some, surgery is especially important. Simply taking on the social role through dress and identity, which includes pronoun use, may be enough for some folks.

There may be some people who think folks should have greater access to surgery, but that doesn't mean they are slavering over the idea of "cutting off teats and mutilating genitals."
