Tennessee sees new step in wave of anti-Trans bills

It's very possible the sports thing there can lead to more. Like an RFRA bill that is specifically tailored to Conservative Christians. That happens, you healthcare, housing, and job may be in jeopardy.
We'll see. I'm not going to stress over a hypothetical. Kroger is certainly not going to fire me for being trans. They're very "woke" when it comes to that. We even just had to do diversity training that was a silly "woke" stereotype that we all made fun of.

Columbus bans discrimination in jobs, housing and public accomodations on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, as well.

Maybe its that way with "some" men. Don't lump us all in the same sandbox.
True.
But it did remind me some insanely insecure douche on a hyper-machoman high, and oh my god it was so funny the way he freaked out when we were poking at him when someone mentioned taking a dump in front of his wife and got all upset with a big "NEVER!!!" and got all whiny about women just aren't supposed to be in the bathroom with a man because apparently he's supposed to be so many and macho and masculine in the bathroom, especially when taking a dumb, and a women anywhere near doing anything or even by accident just pops his man bubble. :joycat:

We Never Know

No Slack
Wish it were like that for me. When I still used men's restrooms I HATED it if someone tried to talk to me. Especially those fat ******** with their arms spread out at a urinal stall and gyrating their hips back and forth. They also usually make a lot of unpleasant and irritating sounds.

Honestly I’m just forcibly reminded of Helen Lovejoy. Like I know that’s where the stereotype comes from but we just call our “think of the children” types Karens
I don't care much for the "karen" thing (one Karen I've known is a black lady who is "stepping stone" too nice) (i'd prefer an ol' fashioned "*****").
But basically yes. Helen Lovejoys they are. Or the Beautiful People in Manson terms.

That would have been more pleasant. Vastly more pleasant. These sounds make me cringe. Especially when they loudly hawk up a loogie, and then make a gross and nasty sound when they spit it out. And the nose grunting thing. And talking in the bathroom to a stranger? If it were up to me people would be banished to Niflheim over that.

And just to think of it:
This thread blew up (and somehow missed the front page spot) largely over bathrooms. Nobody cares until imbicilic "memememe"s come along and do damage across the board.
And when I saw nobody, I mean a kid at school has been using the restroom of his identity for years and no one says a peep about it until an arseling parent finds out and makes a fuss and we end up hearing bathroom bans making (typically local) news headlines.
Nobody cares until a guy in a dress does inappropriate things and gets called a guy, and then arselings come along and try to defend him. They say people who are not ay all like us are like us and have things in common. They'll come along and say there are basically no differences between men and women and the differences that exist are all cultural.
In the meanwhile, the bulk majority of us just want to be left alone like anyone else. A lot of us are more scared of you than what you are scared of us. Especially in a public restroom.

A new Tennessee law forces businesses to post a 'policy' sign if they allow transgender people to use bathrooms matching their gender identity

Tennessee is requiring that businesses where trans people can use bathrooms which match their gender post warning signs.

The signs look like this:

And the law outlines that the colors and text cannot be changed. Which is too bad, as I'd turn this transpanic induced BS into an affirmation like this:

I think it is a good idea. Warning people that someone of the opposite sex may be in there with you.

Beats building a trans bathroom.

What the hell is a trans bathroom? I've only ever seen that in Family Guy, and I live in California.

All that does is lead to embarrassment because many who think they are very able to spot someone who is trans are usually crap at it and end up misidentifying people.

That is my point - putting up a sign is better than building another bathroom for transpeople.

This makes no sense.

It is not like the sign identifies transpeople or something.

All the sign does is warn everyone that people of the opposite sex may also be using that restroom.

Better than someone getting surprised and angry about it.

That doesn't answer my question. I don't even see these "trans bathrooms" in California. Literally, I've only ever seen one in Family Guy.
And it's not like men wearing men's clothes or women's clothes are invading women's restrooms or vice versa. That's not happening either.

No - what I am saying is that the only other alternative is building a "trans bathroom" - which would be ridiculous.

People should know when they enter a restroom if they may see a member of the opposite sex in there.

Better than being surprised and angry about it. People protest this kind of stuff. It can turn ugly

That is literally what is happening.

Biological men who believe they are women are entering into women's restrooms and vice versa.

This "trans bathroom" doesn't exist. No one has them. It exists only in a cartoon as a joke to humiliate one of the main characters.
O-M-G

I never said that these bathrooms existed. I said that a sign is preferable to actually building such a room.

Building a third bathroom for transpeople is the only other reasonable option.
Except it's not. No invasions, no intrusions, no perving.
A biological man stepping into a women's restroom is automatically an invasion. An intrusion.

The biological man's motivation for being there is irrelevant.

Nah. There's been other alternatives.
Including minding one's own business.
A biological man stepping into a women's restroom is automatically an invasion. An intrusion.
So does the male janitor invade them?

You never even answered what that is. They don't build or make these.

Nah. There's been other alternatives.
Those alternatives violate people's sense of safety and privacy.
Including minding one's own business.
Or using the correct restroom. Not the one you feel like using.
So does the male janitor invade them?
I've never been a janitor - but I assume that he waits until the restrooms are all vacant and then he closes them off before doing his job.

What a ridiculous thing to say.
You never even answered what that is.
What question?
They don't build or make these.
I never claimed that anyone did.

Wow.

No, you are the one who said when a man enters he's automatically invading.
What question?
The question is "what in the bluest of blue hells is a trans bathroom?" I've never seen these, I've never heard of them, I see no point with other viable alternatives.
Those alternatives violate people's sense of safety and privacy.
This step may involve you to stop thinking of this in binary terms.
Here's a hint:
Parents of adult children they must provide extensive care for love them.
